In Idaho 11/28/2001
We were supposed to stay at Sis. Tammy's house who is Jimmy's aunt, but her leg started acting up (from a car accident she was in a while ago) so she was staying at Bro. Jon and Sis. Pat's house (Bro. Jon is her brother-in-law, Sis. Pat is her sister, and they are both Jimmy's parents) so we couldn't go there with no one home. Plans were made for us to go to Bro. Jason and Sis. Donna's house instead (they usually get the company anyway). So we arrived in Nampa, Idaho at around 1:30am, Idaho time. We stopped at a gas station and my dad went out in the rain to call Bro. Jason for directions, and Jimmy (17 years old) answered because he was there and he knew where we were so he said he would come and show us the way. So after we got to their house, Bro. Jason said that Sis. Donna was asleep and that my parents get his bed and everyone else would have to sleep on the couch or whatever. Jimmy said he would take my brother, Matt (12 years old) and me and we would sleep at his Aunt Tammy's house because we would get a bed. He said his aunt keeps her house freezing, and her room is the coldest. I asked why and Jimmy said she just likes it cold.

At his aunt's house, I slept in the guest bed, Matt slept in Jimmy's bed, and Jimmy slept in his aunt's bed, all queen sizes. My bed was really warm in the morning and I got a shower in the bathroom in his aunt's room, and it was just a small shower, not a bath too. He called it the "bomb shelter" and the water had a lot of pressure which I like. The shower in the other bathroom had a bath also and had low pressure. The water went cold halfway through :( So then Jimmy took us to Bro. Jason and Sis. Donna's house and they were up having muffins and my sisters had to share a bunk bed, haha! Ben slept in a sleeping bag on the floor by the master bed which my parents slept in. He was up playing Mario Kart on the 64.

When it was like 12:30, we all left for Jimmy's parents' house for Thanksgiving, since we couldn't have it at his Aunt Tammy's house, because she wasn't home; she was at Jimmy's parents' house too. We got there and Bro. Wayde (Jimmy's oldest brother) with his wife, Sis. Cora were there and so were Bro. Adam (Jimmy's brother) and his sorta new wife, Sis. Teresa. Sis. Tammy's son was there along with his fiance. And Ashley and Austin, who are Bro. Wayde and Sis. Cora's kids were there too. I was with my clipboard and wrote about the trip to Idaho and about the "haunted" part during this :)

A bunch of tables were pushed together to make a really long one and we had Thanksgiving dinner and afterwards the guys decided to clean up and let the ladies talk in the other room. I was happy with this because I feel sorry for the girls always having to clean up. I helped clear off the dishes, and take the extra chairs into the garage, and then I rinsed and dried the dishes after Bro. Adam washed them (the dishwasher was full). All the other guys kinda were done, so it was just Bro. Adam and me. Then the hot water ran out so we stopped. Hehe, too bad. Now, you have to understand, the people who are baptised are called "brethren" and it also means they are "in the faith". I am not in the faith yet, but my sister, Andrea is and so is Jimmy, and of course all the other adults I mentioned, which makes them a Bro. or Sis. So Jimmy is really "Bro. Jimmy" but since he's around my age I just call him Jimmy. The brethren always have Halloween together, Thanksgiving, 4th of July; any holiday that you spend with others, the brethren spend with eachother, and it usually turns into a visit about the faith and the Bible. So after everything was cleaned up, the brethren and I sat in the front room and visited. Sis. Donna had made some Triple Layer Chocolate Pudding Cake, or something like that, and I LOVED it! It might have been the best thing I've ever tasted, I'm not sure! I went to her and asked her how something could be this good. She smiled and thanked me. She and Bro. Jason are around 25, and he is good-looking for a guy, and she is very cute IMO. I mentioned how her dessert was very good some other times too, and she just loved it. Gosh I love making people feel good! So after it was over, Jimmy took Matt and me to his aunt's house and Jimmy said how his aunt's bed is freezing and only had thin blankets on and took half an hour to get warm from his body heat. He said that his bed, which my brother was going to sleep in, had an electric blanket, so he would share it with him. Oh well, at least I got my bed to myself again :)
