Dance Dance Revolution!!! 12/22/2001
Today Nick and his 2 brothers came over and Nick wanted him and me to go to Putters (a miniature golf course, but we went for the arcade) to beat me at Dance Dance Revolution. If you don't know what that is, it's an arcade game with arrows on a pad and you have to step on the arrows that it shows on the screen while it plays music; music from real artists. I've never played it and he's played it about a hundred times before. I saw someone messing up on some slow parts and Nick said that that's how I will look when I do it, because everyone messes up easily on the first time. I tried it and I confess that I sucked big time. I got mostly Ds and Es. I failed a couple times, but I got a couple Cs later and 2 Bs. And I didn't use the easy mode either, I used normal. Well, we went to eat pizza (they serve pizza here too) and it was just him and me at one table and a bunch of girls at another one. They were all 13 and 14 and it was a birthday party, with their mom and grandma. They started singing Happy Birthday and Nick and I joined in and they told us during the song that her name was Sarah. Then Nick went to go get more Mountain Dew and 2 of the girls were going up there too and asked him if he wanted any cake. He said no. Then he got full on pizza and went to play games, and a little later I finished and went too, but the girls stopped me and asked if I want any cake. I said no because I was full. The grandma said that cake goes down easier than pizza. I said that they don't have to give me any, but then the grandma went and got a plate and put a piece of cake on it and gave it to me and invited me to sit with the girls. I'm like, okay. I went and sat on the end and they didn't really talk to me while I ate. Then one asked me how old I was and I told her. I found that cake did go down easier, but I got full before I could finish it and I got up and said Happy Birthday to the b-day girl and one of the girls asked if I have an email address. I said I do. She asked me what it was and one of the other girls told her that she is dumb for thinking that someone would just give out their email address to anyone, but when I meet someone online I talk to them even though I don't know them. I took out my new DBZ wallet and showed her the I.D. card with my email address on it because it's easier to read than say.

Nick and I decided to wait a little before playing DDR again, but we obviously didn't wait long enough because we got stomach cramps soon afterwards. So we waited a little more and then played again. Then some other people played and these 2 girls played over and over, choosing the same song each time! It was called "Bumble Bee". Nick was getting annoyed at the song so we went to see what other games there were. I played air hockey with him but he wanted to quit after one game so I went to the party of girls who were now away from the table and asked them if they wanted to play with me. Then Sarah, the b-day girl said she would and I told her that I'm lucky to get to play with the Birthday Girl! Nick and I played more DDR until our quarters were out and then I called my mom and she came and got us. It's a really fun game and I hope to go play it again really soon, like tomorrow! Hmm, maybe I could play it with my best friend online when I meet her, hehehe. Today was a good day, I just hope that Kelli's wasn't too bad....................*smiles* I just thought of Kelli. What a nice thought.

I love DDR. I've only played it once, 3 dances worth, but it was really fun. I was actually pretty good at it. I got a D, and then I think C's. Not too bad. good exercise too.

You know, you mentioned on the phone how I hadn't noted you in a while... but you haven't noted me either so there ~sticks out tounge~ and I have an excuse, lol.

luv ya, ttyl, Kel
