Good Friends: Kelly 1/23/2002
Note: The "good friends" entries are in order of when I met them.

I actually met Kelly's niece before I met Kelly. Her niece is Sarah and is 9 years old. Kelly is 13. Whenever Sarah comes over she uses Kelly's computer and talks to the weirdest guys she can find. The ones who cuss and say sick stuff all the time. I guess she IMed me because of my screen name at that time was BlackLordJap. Lord Jap is the bad guy from a story I wrote, and he's the absence of light, so black. Sarah played truth or dare with me, and I talked for a while and she said she was Kelly and was 17. That night the real Kelly came on, but it wasn't until a few months later that I found that it was Sarah whom met me. (I had talked to Sarah several times by that time). That night was the night Kelly's grandma had just died. Her grandma was the relative she was closest to. She was crying and I spent the whole night trying to cheer her up. I said some jokes, tried other things, but none seemed to help much. She told me I couldn't make her smile. After a while she said she knows I'm trying really hard to cheer her up and she thanked me. Karen and Kelly were the only people I knew on AIM and Karen had just gotten online, so I asked her what I could do. She suggested a *cyber hug*. I asked what that was and she told me. I turned to Kelly and did *cyber hug* and she said yuck. I told Karen that Kelly said yuck and she asked for Kelly's screen name. Right then Kelly said thanks, she needed it. We became really close after that, and I learned she had depression and was more and more turning Gothic. We did things like go for walks online, lol. And then I asked her if she liked me in "that way". She said she guesses so. Then I asked her out and she said okay. We went out for a while, and I learned about how she has a brother named Kevin who is one year older than me. She said he is mean. I also learned she has a neighbor who is going out with Kevin and she was 15. She may be 16 now. Anyway, she told me that I'm the only one who has been nice to her. She was really sweet to me, and cared about me a lot. We would pretend to do things a lot, like go to the movies. She loved to be held by me and said she felt so safe in my arms. When she was feeling bad I would stay up all night talking to her. She would do the same for me if it wasn't for school the next day. I had asked for her brother's screen name but she said he wouldn't give it to her. About halfway between then and now, I went online and Sarah was on. Sarah is probably the only person I know whom I don't like. She always cusses a lot, because she knows I don't like it. She always disses on me and says I'm ugly and just never says anything nice. I can't block her permanently because she uses Kelly's screen name when she comes over. Well anyway, Sarah was on and she was telling me that Kelly hates me, she never liked me and she is talking to some guy on the phone and asking him out. Now, Sarah has always said how Kelly doesn't really like me, but other times she seemed to be happy that I make Kelly happy. Of course I didn't believe her this time, but then Kelly's neighbor got on and told me the same thing. She told me to leave Kelly alone and she doesn't like me. I bet Sarah was just loving this. Then Kevin, Kelly's brother, got on and asked me what was going on with me and Kelly. I told him I love her. He said she's only 13 and I can't love her. And she's not allowed to have a boyfriend until she is 16. I found out that Kelly was standing by her brother the whole time. I was crushed, but I still stayed good friends with her and she told me she still likes me that way. She even turned down someone because I wouldn't like her going out with someone. I asked Kelli's (a friend I'll explain later) boyfriend for help and he talked to Kelly. It was just the long distance and she thought I would hate her since she is 13. Well, I'm now friends with Kevin and their neighbor, who apologized for being mean to me. Kelly said she has always been depressed, but since her grandma died she has just been really lonely. This is what helped her become more and more Gothic. Recently, Kelli's boyfriend asked Kelly out and she said yes. Since then Kelly has been really depressed but not because of her new boyfriend. I could never get her to smile or anything. She was always sad when I started talking to her and just as sad at the end of it. When we were still going out, her favorite singer was Eminem, and I told her I would draw him for her. After I drew it, it took a while to be able to send it, and since then she has gotten more into Slipknot, Mudvayne, ICP, and Marilyn Manson. She now hates Eminem, but she still loved getting my drawing of him. It's on the wall over her monitor. She has her own thought of how Gothics are, and based on her, there are a lot of rules you have to follow. Like, you have to hate preps, hate God, hate Christians. But she still likes me regardless of me being one. Kelly asked me if she hurt me way back when she broke up with me and I told her yes. She said she was sorry, and she's been thinking about that a lot. She also said thanks for being the only one to never lie to her, and thanks for always putting up with the crap she gave me. She was my first girlfriend, and so far my last.
