I'm a Bad Boy2 2/28/2002
Then something bad happened...

I have an acquaintance/friend named Jeremy Alexander. He's the one whom Randy and I think stole my Magic cards. I figure he'll just have to live with knowing he stole them from me if he did, and if he wanted them that bad, then oh well, I'm not mad. Anyway, he of course had an account on the H:\ drive. Randy said that "jalexand" showed up next to "rdavis" which was Randy's folder name, meaning Randy could now access Jeremy's and his own folder. I didn't notice since Jeremy's, along with everyone else's, always showed up on mine, hehe. But I found out that Jeremy's now showed up when anyone logged on, along with their own. But that's not the bad part; mine also showed up on everyone's; the kakarot one! Howard didn't know what caused this to occur, so he checked out the jalexand and the kakarot accounts to find out. He discovered that we both had a virus on ours, and the network program that he uses makes it so any account with a virus on it shows up in everyone's. He talked to Jeremy about it and it was just a Word macro virus, very very common. You can get it from just going on the internet if you have any Word documents I guess. Howard said teachers even accidentally email him with viruses attached, so it's no big deal. Mine had the same virus on it, and I don't think it was even a threat. But it was a very big threat to me, since it caused Howard to check out the kakarot account. He discovered everything about it, but didn't know who's it was. The next day when we went to his office, he asked us if we knew anything about some account called "kakarot" (but he pronounced it wrong, lol. He said it like "kakarote"). Now, I knew that Randy knew I had an account called "kakarot", but he didn't know anything special about it, he only knew the name, so there would be no reason he would try to keep it a secret. I thought that if I didn't say anything, he would probably look at me and make that face he always does and say, "Isn't that yours, Jason?" I figured it would be best if I spoke up instead of Randy, so I told him it's mine.

The next day he said that he couldn't trust me right now, and he has to trust me in this class. He said his job depends on the network working right, and even though I didn't do much with the power I had, I most certainly was able to do much destruction, and also I abused the trust he put in me by allowing us to make accounts without his supervision. So I had to be in a different class the remainder of that trimester. He called my parents and told them, and my dad talked to me about it when I was in the car with him going to the grocery store to get some stuff. One thing I like though, my dad said that Howard said he gives me credit for being able to do what I did. He said I put a file inside a file and he doesn't know how I did that, hehe. He still has the kakarot account, he hasn't deleted it, though he turned it off so it can't be logged into.
