At Kelli's house 2 4/11/2002
Friday: Kelli's friends from school, Bryan, Dustin, and Eddie were going to see Resident Evil with her. I came, too, of course. We went to the arcade while we waited for the movie to start and I immediately looked for a Dance Dance Revolution. My search was in vain. All they had was a cheesy wannabe that instead of having an up, down, left, and right arrow, it had an up/left, up/right, down/left, and down/right arrow, plus one in the middle. The music was way too low so it was hard to follow the beat, and...it just sucked. We played air hockey a little and went into Kelli's favorite store and then it was time for the movie. It made me jump like every 10 minutes and I hate when movies make me jump, but it was good.

Saturday: Okay, I was supposed to leave on Sunday, but her mom said that her husband won't be available to drive me to the bus station so I would have to wait until Monday, which was okay with me. I would stay as long as I could, I just didn't think I could stay while they had school. Saturday went pretty much like Wednesday and Thursday, but Joey had a kind of baseball game to go to. Kelli and I sat and shared the headphones to her CD player. That night we went to China Border. It's a Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet, and it's really good too. We had a time getting Joey to try some sweet and sour chicken though. He even said he would miss out on ice cream so he wouldn't have to try it!

Sunday: I went to Kelli's church. She doesn't usually go, but she went to show me, and so we could see her "twin", Meghan, who works there in the daycare. Her church was different from mine. Theirs has a program that you can pick up and it tells what all will happen in church that day, ours isn't planned out. They have communion every Sunday, ours has it every year. Theirs has a pre-selected person to say a prayer, in ours the prayers are done by anyone who wants to when we aren't singing or anything. Theirs is directed by the minister, our minister only stands up when he's going to give the sermon, and the rest of the time he sits with everyone else. Their minister writes his sermon before church, ours just goes up with his bible and gets the words from God. In ours, everyone is there the whole time, even the little kids. We don't have a Sunday school for them, it's just church. Now, I'm just pointing out the differences that I noticed, I'm not judging or saying one is better than the other. After church we went to the daycare but Meghan wasn't there. Kelli's really little cousin, Angel, was there. Kelli picked her up, she's so cute. Then Angel stretched her arms out to me and Kelli said, "Aww, she likes you," and handed her to me. Then we had to go back to her house. Kelli's mom said I might have to stay until Thursday at the latest, but probably sooner than then. Hehe, what a bummer.

Monday: I woke up around 6 am because Kelli was up getting ready for school and trying not to wake me, lol. At least I got to see her before she left. Later, her mom was up and she got Joey up because she had to go to work and Joey had to catch the bus. Later, her dad was up and he went to work and then Kelli's 19-year-old brother went to work, leaving me home alone. Their kitchen had stuff piled on the counters and on the pool table in the middle of it, and the floor was dirty and food was out and stuff. I decided that I would thank them for letting me stay at their house so I cleaned it all up, which took about 3 hours. Then I went on the computer and made sure nothing was set wrong or there wasn't errors and stuff. Then I laid down. Then I went outside and waited for Kelli's bus to come. A car pulled in the driveway and Meghan came out. She came to see me and to get some pickles that Kelli's family made. Then she left, and later Kelli and her friend, Janice, came. Later, Joey came home, then his mom, and she had to take him to baseball practice. She took me so I wouldn't be home alone with Kelli. She told me she trusts me, but if she let me stay there, Kelli's aunt across the street would know and she would nag Kelli's mom about it all the time, and she didn't want to deal with that. The rest of that day went pretty much like the others, but that night Kelli's mom took us to the movie store on our way home from Walmart, and we looked for Monty Python and the Holy Grail. No luck. We were at Walmart looking for things to make Kelli's flower headband out of for the Shakespeare day at her school on Wednesday...
