Well, today my sister is old enough to legally smoke,
lol, but I know for a fact she wouldn't. Heck, she's more of a
goodie-two-shoes than I am. I have today off, but I have to work
tomorrow.
Well, the other day I was thinking about stuff (my previous
entries go into more detail) and I just remembered that I need to
get Kelli a graduation gift. (I didn't want to tell about this until
she got it). She was mad at me at the time, and I just wanted to
send something to make her happy, and I didn't care how it made her
feel toward me. It wasn't meant to make me look good in her eyes, it
was just to make her happy since I had done something to her to make
her upset. I talked it over with Marie, the people greeter at
Wal-Mart, and she suggested a fruit basket. Then she said she hasn't
gotten a fruit basket for mother's day in a long time. (she's in her
60s). Well, I wasn't sure how much Kelli would like a fruit basket,
but I guessed she would like flowers, and it was very convenient
since florists have this network thing so you can talk to a florist
that's local to the person you are sending it to, and they will
deliver it, allowing it to get to them as soon as that same day. I
knew Kelli liked teddy bears (we sorta fought over one at her house,
lol) so I went to the florist that was right by Wal-Mart on my lunch
break. It was Sunday so they were closed. The next day was Memorial
Day so they were closed then too :(
The next day was the 28th, the same as the entry titled
"Smile... you suck!" I went to the florist and picked out a vase with
flowers, and I asked them to have green in it, and I got a teddy
bear with it too. I had a poem all written out to go on the card,
but they said the florist we were giving the order to would have a
fit over the size of the poem. They made a copy of it, and then read
it to make sure it was legible. The lady said she could read it,
but then she showed me the size of the card it would fit on and it
was the size of a business card. I asked if they could specify a
larger card, and the man said, "Okay! We can do that." I was thinking,
"Why didn't they think of this on their own?" He also said they need
to make sure that her school would allow flowers to be sent there,
since I was obviously sending it there. He said he would call me if
something didn't work out.
I talked to my friend, Becky's boyfriend, last night, whom I have
heard lots of good and nothing bad about. It was nice, and he's a
really cool guy. But he makes more than me :( LOL. Good luck to both
of them! I can still remember the first time I talked to her... and
since then I always wished she could find someone who would be there
for her and would make her happy, and she's certainly done that!
Today, I wrote more on my novel I'm writing. I know Kelli is
writing one too, but I'm not imitating her by doing this, I started
mine first, so ha. I was going to make mine all depressing, but
there has to be events that make it depressing, and events need a
reason to happen, and the reasons make it not as depressing, lol.
It's now more of a mystery/sci-fi that's depressing to get through,
lol. But I have high hopes for it.
My stomach hurt today, even when I laid down. But I'm in a good
mood, so here's a *hug* to anyone reading my entry who wants one. :)
My brother, Matt, needs the computer for homework right now, so I
gotta go. Bye!
