Today, my brother, Ben, is 10 years old. He's the
youngest in my family.
Last night I talked to a friend whom I met at Wal-Mart and she
works there too. She works in the Radio Grill which is a restaurant
inside the store. I got her AIM screen name and we have started
talking online. Her name is Carly, and she's sorta cute. A little
overweight, but that doesn't matter, I'm just describing her. She is
also as big a fan of DBZ as I am, though she likes Star Wars just as
much. She's into video games too. Last night she told me that she
and her friend, Nick, (he works at Wal-Mart too) are going to see the
Star Wars movie today since she doesn't go into work until 6. She
said they hang out sometimes, but not as much anymore which is too
bad. I wanted to go, too, but I worked at 7am this morning and they
would already be watching it. She said it's her 4th time watching
it, and she saw Lord of the Rings 5 times. I don't think she likes
me "that way", and I don't like her "that way", but then again, I hardly
know her. We only recently started talking online, and since my
sister has been using the computer a lot to finish last minute stuff
so she can graduate, I haven't gotten to talk very much. And before
we talked online, we only talked when I went to order usually 2
chili and cheese corndogs for lunch. I hope we can do things later
on. I think we would have fun.
Today at work, my shift began at 7, and it started out boring.
The carts were full, the parking lot was empty of carts, so there
was nothing to do since the stockman who closed last night did a
good job. I basically avoided the managers since they would give me
annoying tasks to do like straighten the shelves. We had our Friday
morning meeting and free doughnuts at 9 since it's the non-paycheck
Friday. When I got back, one of the 3 rows of carts was empty. :) I
got carts, and kept getting them while customers brought them out. I
usually stop when the inside is full, but today I gathered every
cart I saw which kept me busy and it was nice not going inside and
having nothing to do. When I was done, I went inside and it had been
2 hours already which meant 11 o'clock! Lunch time! Stockman Josh
came and I told him I was going on lunch. When I got back an hour
later, the carts were 2/3 full and the parking lot was scattered
with carts. Looks like Josh didn't do any work, as usual. I pushed
carts until the lot was all empty again and went inside and it had
been 2 hours again! Time for my last break. Only 2 more hours until
I get to go home. Then Josh comes and says Wyatt is looking for me
and has a job for Josh and me to do. The task was getting in the
dumpster, which is taller than me, and getting all the cardboard out
that some retard put in there since it doesn't belong in there and
everyone knows it. There were pallets on top of it, and they weigh
about 60 lbs I would guess. One of them was more. I would throw the
pallets out of the dumpster and work my way to the cardboard below,
while Josh tried to balance, lol. I spent half the time moving
things for him so he could move to another area. He has a disability
where he can't use his right arm very well, nor his right leg. I
don't see why he was assigned to help me. There was a stupid lawn
mower upside-down in there, and when I moved it, oil leaked out. It
kept being in my way and I kept having to move it, and Josh kept
laughing at me. He did help some, though.
Then there were the bags of plant food, which are flimsy and
heavy, and we had to move those. They all had holes in them and it
poured out when we threw them to another area of the dumpster. It
got all over my cool Converse high tops and my pants. One of them
smelled really bad and Josh teased that I "let one." We didn't get
all the stupid cardboard out since the carts were getting really
low, and my shift was over, and we still had to put the pallets back
in the dumpster. Oh man, were they hard to lift over my head and
throw! Some were easy, but one in particular took both me and Josh's
left hand to throw. Anyway, he said he would take care of the
cardboard and I went and filled up the carts inside before I took
off. When I went outside, I saw this girl who was so hot! She was
going back to a car with her boyfriend, but she was hot like a
celebrity! I dunno, I just hardly ever see good-looking girls at
Wal-Mart. Lol, Greg is always saying, "Whoa! Look at her!" I look
and don't see anything special. Lol, he's funny. He's always looking
at girls. He recently divorced so I guess I can see why. He's 27
BTW. Josh is probably my age.
I went and played DDR because of the bus schedule, but it wasn't
as fun this time as it usually is. It was so-so. Oh well. I did
think of one thing today while I did carts. I thought about this one
girl who asked me out a while back and I wish I went out with her. I
know we would have a good time if we did, and I feel bad now for
telling her I just wanted to be friends. She has a boyfriend now,
and I know that if I had gone out with her, she would break up with
me and go out with him, but that's okay. It would only be a fun
relationship anyway with me and her. That just came to my mind
today, lol.
