Out with the
guys |

Jared came over from Adam's house. Adam lives a half
a mile behind my house. He came to see the Grand Canyon game that I
made on the computer based off of the one we made in middle school.
Jared had a black leather jacket and he liked the game. He had never
seen DBZ so I showed him some of the music vids. He didn't seem
impressed at all. He's just as tall as me now! He said he was going
to go back to Adam's house and have Adam's dad fix his car, and
wanted to know if I wanted to go also. I said sure. Adam was still
in bed and Jared got him up. Jared is my age, and Adam is about 16.
Jared had to go, so I stayed there and talked with Adam. We haven't
hung out for a while. He's a hardcore gamer, but he doesn't like
Final Fantasy games, grrr. He saw my shirt and laughed, and then
said, "I forgot you liked Dragon Ball Z." He doesn't like that,
either. He's more into Mario and Zelda games, but he likes Resident
Evil a lot, too. He said the best game ever made is Tetris. Next is
Soul Calibur which is a fighting game, and then the 3rd is a tie
between Megaman X, Super Metroid, and he named some others. His
computer is messing up a lot, and I tried to fix it but I don't know
all what he has on it. He's into Diablo 2 a lot, and StarCraft:
Brood Wars, too. Somehow Dance Dance Revolution came up, and I found
out he loves it! He's only gone and played it 3 times, and he's
about as good as I was when I went with Nick. We decided to go play
it, and Jared would take us, but not to Putters. He said there is a
DDR at the Moosehead Pool Hall, and no one there is good to make you
look bad, lol. Adam had to finish some homework first though.
We couldn't go until 8. In the car, Jared told me he picked up
some nasty habits as he took out a cigarette. He also cusses now,
and so does Adam, obviously by being influenced by Jared. He put on
Tenacious D, which is very funny. We went into downtown Eugene where
the pool hall was. I guess Jared is in some kind of acting group. We
got out and walked down streets to find it, and we passed this guy
who came and asked if we knew of any nuggets. Jared said, "What?"
The guy said, "Nuggets... you know... pot." Jared said no. The guy
apologized for bugging us, and Jared said, "Nope, I don't know of
any, unfortunately, but I know how you feel." Then Jared said to us,
"What do I look like, a druggie?" We finally found the pool hall and
played DDR. Adam didn't like playing by me since I made him look bad, so I played on Basic like him. It was fun. Jared played
once and didn't like it. Then we drove back and Jared had some soft
songs on, about love and losing love, that kinda stuff. We stopped
by 7-Eleven and I got a green tea Sobe and they got Pepsi. That was
a fun night, and Adam said we should do it again sometime.
