| Today was cool, very cool. I had work off, and so did
Carly. She is moving back into her parents' house, but they are
truck drivers so they are rarely home. I offered to help her move
her stuff around and unpack. She came and got me and took me to her
house, which happens to be on the same street as Nick's, lol. I
helped her move her bed around, and got somed dressers into her
small room. That was all we could do for now, so we went to see
Episode 2 of Star Wars. We picked the one that played in 2 hours so
we could walk around the mall. We got some pizza and then we saw the
movie, which was a lot better than Episode 1. Anakin was really
hooked on Padme, and when he would say some of the things like how
he really really needs her, I leaned over and said to Carly, "He's
worse than me with Kelli!" She laughed. Then we went to the house
she was moving out of, with her old roommate, Meesa. She is pretty
:). We got a couch and a bathroom rack and Carly's aquarium and took
them back to her house. After we got them all set up, she started
taking all the junk off of her bed, since she wanted to sleep in it
tonight instead of her parents' bed, because her dog wouldn't be
able to sleep with her in her parents' bed. After we cleared it all
off I layed down and I'm like, "Goodnight, lol." She said she was
tired, but not sleepy. I agreed. Then she layed down too and we
talked about a lot of stuff. She told me about her other friends,
and we talked about people at Wal-Mart whom she's friends with, and
about Greg who used to date her old roommate. She told me I worry
too much about stuff, and I need to stop reading between the lines
when people talk to me. Lol, guess she's right. Then we had to go to
where her brother worked and give him his keys that she had been
using. We came back and my stomach hurt, and we sat in the living
room and talked some more. She told me about her best friend, Sonny.
She said he's Wiccan, and he's really cool. She told me about how
she would have her boyfriends over and they would spend the night
and sleep in her bed with her, and it was like, normal. She said
half the time they didn't even share the same covers, and they
didn't snuggle or anything, it was just really comfortable knowing
someone was there with you. Her parents would know about it, and let
her have the door closed, too, because they respected her privacy.
This was totally different from how my parents are. I'm not even
allowed to sleep in the same room as a non-family member of the
opposite sex, door closed or open. Anyway, she asked if I wanted to
watch one of their movies and I said I would like to lay down again
first, because of my stomach. She said she would come, too, so I
wouldn't be alone. Well, it got to be 11:30 and she said she better
take me home before she falls asleep. And I said, "Yeah, 'cause then
I would fall asleep..." and she said, "Yep, and your mom wouldn't
like it and she would be mad at me." I told her my mom wouldn't be
mad at her, 'cause I would tell her that Carly fell asleep and it's
my fault for not waking her. Oh well, she took me home and my mom
was asleep and the computer was off, and I was going to go online,
but I was too tired, so I went to bed. |
