Last night I couldn't get to sleep. I laid there
awake thinking about... what I always end up thinking about while
laying in bed. Usually this helps me relax and go to sleep, but this
time, it helped me relax but I couldn't stop thinking about it and
couldn't get to sleep until 3:30 in the morning. I had to wake up at
6, and I did, but went back to sleep until my dad woke me up at
6:24, leaving me just enough time to get dressed and head out the
door so I wouldn't be late for my 7 o'clock shift at Wal-Mart.
Once there, I checked the schedule: No Bethanie, no Elisabeth, no
Tracy, no Carly, no Tammy, no Brad, no Cree, no anyone fun to talk
to!!! Well, Elisabeth did come in just to get her paycheck, but she
was with her boyfriend meaning I couldn't very well go talk to her
(plus it was another reminder of other guys' ability to attract
girlfriends).
I did bring in my DBZ game, though, and Brandon (in Electronics)
let me use the PS1 (used for demo games) to put my game in and play,
and he watched since he's a minor DBZ fan, though he stayed in
character and didn't show any signs of excitement (stayed in
character? I've been reading 8-bit Theater too much). I played it on
my lunch by the way. The carts were going slow, but not too bad. I
did have quite a few bookshelf carry-outs which is always fun, and I
always get lots of thank-yous from that and just about all the
other parts of my job, which is always nice.
When it was 4 and I clocked out, I noticed that Tammy was back in
Layaway (that's right, she was scheduled to come in at 4). We had a
really quick conversation, then I left, and noticed that Carly
actually was here, so I went and tried talking to her (remember,
I've been getting an "uninterested" feeling from her lately). Well,
she actually talked more than just answers, and we had one of our
good ol' regular conversations. I picked up that girls tend to get
tired of having too much of one person at a time and so they get a
little distant to that person (I got the hint that she was meaning
that's what she was doing). So, I shouldn't go talk to her every day
a lot or something. That just seems weird though, because I ALWAYS
want to see my good friends, especially the ones I really care
about. But then again, I'm weird, and she confirmed that also.
Well, my mom was banking on me taking the bus, but my dad was
assuming my mom was picking me up, so of course, nothing happened
until my dad called my mom asking if she got me yet, then she called
me saying one of them would get me soon. So I left Wal-Mart an hour
and a half after my shift ended, but I was talking to Carly that
whole time so it was cool.
When I got home, DBZ was almost over, and it was the espisode
right after the last one on the tapes I saw at Kelli's house,
meaning it was the first one I haven't seen yet. Oh well, I'll see
it sometime. Andrea was on the computer, and of course used the
excuse that I'm ALWAYS on it, and of course my mom sided with her.
So I had nothing to do while I waited for her to get off. Around 8 I
played the DBZ game again and around 11 she finally got off.
Absolutely no one was online from my buddy list. I started typing
this entry and my browser had an illegal error and I couldn't
highlight any of the text to copy it, so I had to write it over
again. I have tomorrow off, so maybe it will be a little better,
that is, if someone cool gets online to talk to (you know who you
are).
Oh, and one more thing: I seem to be getting dragged into a
heated, yet very funny argument between my online ex and my pre-g/f
(yep yep, I'm so funny) and one or two people have apparently
blocked me, though I have done nothing against them or given them
any reason to not want to talk to me. Man, life's rough sometimes,
ya know?
