The Japanese party 10/19/2002
Well, today's the 19th, meaning yesterday my sister, Amy, turned 17. We celebrated her party yesterday and today, with a Japanese party. She invited her friends from school (Joann, Ilsa, Ellen, Aya, Sun Kyung, and John [whom they call Sailor John]). She also invited Nick since he's her friend, too. I know Joann pretty well, and she's definitely into video games, specifically RPGs, and specifically ones made by Squaresoft. She and Amy are both into anime, too. Ilsa and Elsen are sisters, and they get their anime mainly from Joann and Amy. Their favorites (I think) consist of Dragon Ball Z, Tenshi Muyo, Rurouni Kenshin, Yu Yu Hakusho, Mobile Suit Gundam, Gundam Wing, Card Captor Sakura, Dragon Ball, Escaflowne, Fushigi Yuugi, Ranma 1/2, Princess Mononoke, Cowboy Bebop, Oh! My Goddess, and Ronin Warriors. As for me, I've only seen about half of that. Aya is from Japan and Sun Kyung is from Korea. They are both so cute! They remind me totally of how anime characters (from Japanese versions) would be. They sound the same and make the same exclamations, and both do the "peace" sign. Well, at the party we ate Japanese food, Japanese dessert, wore Japanese clothes, and such. The next day they went ice skating but I didn't because I don't like it. I did feel a little out-of-the group because they are all friends in school, even though I know some of them. I showed them some of my music videos but Joann, Ilsa, and Ellen had seen most of them since I lent them a CD with lots on it. It was actually kinda boring for me. I was feeling bored when I got online, and nothing there really helped, either.

Well, that's life.
