Today, there were 4 stockmen at one time, which is
rather odd. But Andy opened so he left first, and Jesse left an hour
after him, so it was only Blake and me after my first break. He was
doing signs for things so I was left with the carts. It was a little
on the busy side, but not too bad. I did them with both hands since
my elbows are sore, and I did the harder "one hand then the other"
way 2 days in a row.
When I was walking, I saw Elisabeth and Tracy walking and talking,
and I said, "What a sight for sore eyes: two gorgeous girls walking
side by side." They just smiled.
Right as I was clocking out for lunch, Elisabeth happened to be
doing the same thing. She wasn't hungry so first she had a smoke :(
(though she's trying to quit) and then we looked around at stuff
that she wanted to look at. Halfway through our lunch, I said I
better get something to eat before my lunch break was over, and she
was a little sorry that I was hungry and she was having me shop with
her, but I let her know it was no big deal, I wasn't that hungry,
and I kept her company willingly. We went over to McDonald's and
ordered a large fry. She wanted a chocolate shake but they were out.
So my lunch was fries, lol, but that little amount filled me up
since I had something on my break.
I had Blake covering for my lunch (he IS a stockman and it's his
job) but when I got back, it looked like he hadn't even touched the
carts, so I had my work cut out for me.
The girl refusing to talk to me is still upset. Either that, or
she just doesn't want anything to do with me, mad at me or not. I'm
starting to wonder if it's because she's afraid I'll make her feel
like dirt by saying something, and she doesn't want to take that
chance, so she just won't talk to me. Well if that's so, I'm sorry
I've made her fear talking to me, and I just hope maybe she can feel
comfortable around me again. The few times I saw her, she looked
fine. She didn't have that really depressed look on her face like
yesterday, so hopefully she's feeling better. She's got several
friends there whom she's known longer than I've known her, plus she
goes and does stuff with them often. I'm sure she'll be alright.
That's what matters most. Sure I'm sad she's mad at me, but it's
because of my failure to think before I speak, and just thinking
about how this is making me feel would be selfish, since she's the
one I hurt first. Okay guys and gals, that's enough thinking out
loud for this rebel leader. See y'all on the next exciting entry of
"Problemless with Problems".
