First of all, I was upstairs on my bed, not because I
was tired or sick, just to be by myself, in the dark, and had stuff
to think about. Of course no one can just let me do that. There must
be something wrong if I'm laying in the dark, or so my family
thinks. I hear downstairs Andrea ask where I am. My mom says I'm
laying down upstairs. She asked why I'm laying down right now in a
voice like it's a stupid thing to do. I guess it's weird to not be
standing or sitting unless it's bed time. Then my mom calls me down.
I lay there thinking she doesn't have to yell, she can come up and
tell me. We had already eaten. After a while my door opens. Matt had
done it. I hear my mom ask if the door's open and he says it is.
Then she yells my name. I don't answer, I'm thinking. She calls
again and still no answer. Then she yells to stop pretending I'm
asleep. I told her I wasn't pretending. Then I hear Ben ask if he
can come and jump on me, and everyone seems to be asking her what
was going on, and it was becoming the main event of everyone's
attention. I got up and went downstairs and announced that if it's
going to be a family event, I might as well come down and make
everyone happy. My mom wanted me to clean up dinner, and was also on
the phone with my dad, apparently telling on me. Figures. After I
did the kitchen, my mom came and told me that since I started, she
didn't need to have me talk to my dad on the phone. Good, it
wouldn't have done anything anyway. He would just make the stupid
threat of kicking me out if I didn't do it. They can't use that
threat for everything, it's cheap. It's like below the belt. But she
told me that I can't be on the computer anymore today or tomorrow.
Okay, that's ridiculous. I looked her right in the eyes and said,
"No." Then I couldn't believe I said that. She asked what I meant,
like if my dad had something for me to do on it. I said he didn't,
but I'll most likely forget about my restriction from it like I
forget about my chores. Well, I didn't forget, and I only got on
once to check my notes, which of course Andrea told on me for.
That night I watched "Spiderman". We had rented it yesterday and
they watched it while I was at work. It was better than I thought it
would be. I guess I thought it would be a 6, and it turned out to be
a 7 1/2 to an 8. It was just cool. I guess I was expecting the
action to look pitiful since I had been watching DBZ and I knew
Spiderman is nothing to the Z-fighters in comparison, so I was
probably expecting a lot less, but it was pretty cool. I can't wait
for the DBZ movie to come out, or at least a preview of it. If they
make it as well as they did in bringing Spiderman to live action,
it's gonna be an awesome movie. |
