The first thing would be braces. Yes, my parents want
me to get braces, and I do, too, to some extent, I just don't like the
idea of going to work with them...
But first I'm going to have my
wisdom teeth pulled. My dad told me you can be put under if you
want, and it costs $50 more, and that my mom and Andrea both wanted
to be asleep when they pulled them. The didn't want to hear the
crunching and feel the pulling, even if they didn't feel any pain.
My dad didn't get put under, and Amy said she wouldn't want to,
either, and neither would I. I mean, if I had to have a finger
removed for some reason, as long as it didn't hurt much I'd sit
right there and watch them. Well, I suppose braces would be cool in
the end, I just don't want to have to wear them for a long time,
especially now that I'm out of school and working.
I got this really cool DBZ music vid that goes to the song "It's
My Life" by Bon Jovi. It's a great song and the music vid has
some very nice footage.
Amanda came to me today at work and told me that she hadn't
forgotten to burn me a CD with all her favorite "Better Than Ezra"
songs (her favorite band), it's just the burning process had an
illegal error and she had to leave for work. She said that when she
put all the songs on, it came to exactly 80 minutes, which was the
CDs limit. Well, I guess I'll have to wait 3 days for when I go to
work next. I hope she doesn't expect me to be there tomorrow and
bring it, and I don't have her phone number, either, to tell her I
won't be there. Oh well.
I saw Elisabeth and her boyfriend, Clint, shopping. She's always
shopping at Wal-Mart with him. I asked Amanda why I never see her
shopping with her boyfriend, and she said 1) He lives in another
city, 2) they are taking a break from each other, and 3) she never
shops at this Wal-Mart on her days off because she feels like a
loser being here and not working. Lol, well, if she says so.
I saw Crystal there today. She and I have been talking more
often. We always saw each other around but never talked, then I broke
the ice, and she's a little crazy, but very fun to be around. She
reminds me a little of Tracy and Kelli put together, lol. She rides
the bus all the time since she doesn't even have a permit, and she
is 29 going on 15, lol. We've been talking about video games, since
she played "Grand Theft Auto 3" and got hooked on video games. Now
she wants the next in the series: "GTA Vice City". I told her about
the Final Fantasy games, 7 being my favorite, and she looked into
that and said she wants to play them, too, and will probably start at
FF7, since it is the first one on the PlayStation and she doesn't
have a Super Nintendo. It would be better if she did and she could
start on FF6 which is the first real character-based game of them.
But starting on FF7 is the best choice if you only have a
PlayStation. She heard that FF10 is the best so far, but I've heard
differently from Nick, Amy, and Joann, who have played all the Final
Fantasy games I have, and we all pretty much like FF7 the best, lol.
Sephiroth rules! So does Vincent. Well, on my lunch, she had to
clock out to catch the bus, so I offered to walk her out to the bus
stop, which is about 1/4 of a mile from the store. She is having
cigarette withdrawels she said, since she started smoking when she
was 23, and quit about 2-3 weeks ago. I wish I could go to her house
and get her started on FF7 when she gets it. That would be cool. She
hasn't played that kind of game before.
At my lunch time the carts weren't really in a condition for me
to be leaving them (Josh opened) so I hurried and filled them up
inside and was about to go on lunch when I got called to furniture
to bring an entertainment center out for a girl, but she started
looking at TVs so I stood there while she looked and then I heard
a voice behind me calling my name. It was Fred. He asked if there
was something I was supposed to be doing. I said I was waiting for
the customer to pick a TV and Mike said he would take them out for
her, so I was sent back to the parking lot. Well, while waiting for
the girl to decide, the carts went down to half full, so I figured I
should fill them up again before I go on lunch. Well, I did, and
when I was going back, Brian asked me how the carts looked. I said
they looked alright, but I'm going on lunch. He said, "At a quarter
to 9?" I said I had to take a late one because of how things turned
out. He said to make sure I take it at 8 if I come in at 4
(whatever, I'll just keep doing what I've been doing). So I clocked
out and Fred was back there and asked me if I clocked out for lunch.
I said I did and he's like, "Okaaaaaaay?" I told him I filled up the
carts and I better go to lunch before it gets any later. He accepted
that but said after lunch he wants me to do carts (okay, sure, you
mean like I've been doing?) After lunch I got more than half of the
parking lot cleaned up, and since I had stayed on top of it, there
wasn't a whole lot to do. I'm supposed to take a break after my
lunch, so I asked Fred when he preferred me to take it. He asked if
there were carts scattered all over the parking lot. I said there
weren't, just some on the right side. He said to go to break now,
but I should've already finished the parking lot, and I shouldn't
ever let it get like this in the first place (okay, I guess it
doesn't matter that I've been out there whenever I wasn't helping a
customer and doing carts the whole time, and even the people greeter
agreed with me that I've been on top of it). Oh well.
