Interesting day 11/22/2002
First of all, my sister and dad went to get their wisdom teeth pulled; my dad getting his last 2 pulled. They came back and we put on "Heart and Soul" for them to watch, and that's a cool movie, but I had to get in the shower and be off to work. I got a package in the mail, and it was something I ordered for a Christmas present. It finally came, though not all of it since part of it is out of stock. I hope they send it to me before Christmas! Even though my dad had his teeth pulled, he said he would take me to work, since he feels fine and I'll be driving anyway. I grabbed my "They Might Be Giants" case with their first 2 albums to let Amanda borrow since she made a "Better Than Ezra" CD for me.

In the car, the steering wheel kept pulling to the right, and it was a little harder to turn left. My dad said that that's weird, because usually it pulls to the left, but I've never noticed it.

I got to work and asked if Amanda was working today, and the CSM said she wasn't, but she is tomorrow. Oh well. Josh was there, and also a new stockman named Shane. Every single time they've hired a new stockman, it's always when I have 3 days off and they always get trained by Josh. It never fails! The guy asked me if I was just starting, lol. He's tall, though, probably around 6'3". Josh is around 6'1". Well, Josh took the cart pusher and got a whole bunch of them. Combined with that and Shane and I getting carts, the parking lot looked pretty decent. Usually when I close, the stockman before me uses all the carts in the covered area outside, but I was able to fill that all up before they left, meaning I wouldn't have to worry about it later, meaning I'd have less carts to deal with during the remainder of my shift. It worked great, and I was easily able to keep the parking lot looking nice the whole time. They both left at 7.

For lunch I went to Subway and the cute girl was there again (I still don't know her name) but some other guy made my sandwich, though she told him how to make it since she memorized how I like it, lol. She was in a happy mood, and she said it was because she's not sick anymore. I guess that would do it. While eating, I heard a song on the radio that I haven't heard in a long time, but really liked it. It's called "The Sign" by Ace of Base. That was my and my sister's favorite band in like around 6th or 7th grade. We had a tape of theirs and Nick really liked them, too. He got a CD (which was a really new thing to us) but it had different songs that we didn't like as much. Anyway, I mentioned it to the girl who worked at Subway and the girl she was serving said she remembers them being her favorite band back then, and we named some of their songs we both liked. When she left, she turned around and said she's diggin' my cons (my Converse shoes with fire).

Well, Amanda did come into work after all, and she had the CD she burned for me, and when I gave her the TMBG case, it turned out only one CD was in it, and it was my sister's Japanese songs, lol. She didn't care that much, though. I went back to Wal-Mart with 20 minutes of my lunch and laid my head on the table in the break room and stayed like that the remainder of the time. Carly and Mike and Steven came in and were talking, but I didn't look up. I heard Carly complain about how someone cut some comic strips out of the comic page, and I remembered I had that problem, too, but I found another one that wasn't cut up. When I left, I walked over and put the undamaged one in front of her and told her this one is whole. She thanked me, then I went back to work.

While I was straightening the carts right inside the front door, a woman came up to the people greeter and asked where booster packs are. She looked down at a paper and said, "It's spelled... um... Y-U..." and I interrupted her and asked, "Yu-Gi-Oh?" and she said "Yeah! That's it. How do you say it again?" I said it again and told her I know where they are, and took her to the toy section where the cards were. Well, they weren't there, like they used to be. I went to find the associate working in that department and it happened to be Carly. I asked her where the Yu-Gi-Oh cards were and she said we don't carry them, so I left the customer with her so they could talk about it. So I guess maybe she's not as mad at me anymore, but I don't know what things I said to her to make her mad in the first place, so I figure the less I say to her the better chance I won't offend her, since no one seems to know which of the things I say that can be taken badly.

I got the carts done pretty early, and they were cutting hours so they let us out an hour early.

When I got home I couldn't get the internet connected and so I played my game a little, and then I tried it again and it worked. Well, that's my day, I hope you enjoyed it.

First you left the word "girl" out of that one paragraph twice! You saw the cute, huh? lol.

Anywho, Wal-Mart (around here anyway) does not and never has carried Yu-Gi-Oh cards! That would make it too easy for me to get a hold of them, and Wal-Mart doesn't want to make anything easy for me. I've stopped going to Wal-Mart unless my mom makes me go with her, cause I HATE it.

Thanks for the help woth the note =) [Black Orchid]
