Movies day 12/4/2002
I woke up and failed to have breakfast since nothing especially good-tasting caught my eye as I walked through the kitchen to the den. I played a little of my Legaia 2 game, trying to get a Heaven's Secret which is needed to make the best equipment in the game, and I only need 2 more. Now I only need one more. My dad brought to my attention the need to put up Christmas lights in front of the house. He told me where the staple gun was (which wasn't where he said it was) and the lights, which are icicle style if you know what that is.

Later, while I was playing some more and my mom was on the computer (she and Andrea are on a lot lately) my youngest brother, Ben, came in and said something to me and my mom also reminded me about the Christmas lights while I was trying to press a button sequence (R1, L1, R1, Down, X) faster than my opponent and you had to press the sequence for each plant, and it messed me up when they talked. Well, I told them they messed me up, and my mom said she doesn't like how I'm talking to her. I asked what she meant. She said I was being rude to her. I told her that telling her that she messed me up wasn't rude, but she didn't listen and wanted me to turn the game off. Well, I hadn't saved in a while, and there was no way I was going to turn it off without doing so. She repeated for me to turn it off and I kinda raised my voice (which caused me to stutter and sound stupid) and told her that it's not rude to tell someone that they disturbed their concentration. Well, that got her attention and ultimately bought me some time to go and save it while she talked to me about getting mad. She then told me again to turn it off and I proptly did so having saved my progress.

Well, after watching 5 episodes of Dragon Ball with Amy (she's a little behind me) I got the phone handed to me by one of my siblings and it was my dad, asking if I put up the lights yet. I told him I hadn't, because I was finishing my snack, which was true. He had this nice little talk with me about not yelling at my mom and not getting mad at her and doing what she asks and not risk losing a place to live over a "stupid game". Well she got upset over the game in the first place. He told me to do the lights again, and I said I would. Of course I finished my snack first, and then my mom came home from whatever and asked why I hadn't put up the lights yet like my dad had just told me to. I swear they have way too much communication. So while my family, minus my dad, ate dinner, I stapled up the lights, not being hungry anyway. At one time my youngest sister, Catie, came out and asked me what I want on my sandwich. I told her "staples and Christmas lights" so she went back in and told my mom my request and that's the last I heard about a sandwich. I put on half the Christmas lights backwards (with the way the plugs on the ends were) so I had to use a screw driver to loosen the staples and then pliers to pull them out, then put them up again the right way. The van was in the way of the last of them, so I asked my mom to move it and she said she is going to be leaving for bible study soon, so I stayed inside and ate the leftover raw vegeta-bles while I sat down to see what movie they were watching. It was "The Secret Garden." I hadn't seen that in a long time, and it was a really dark and depressing movie until the end which was all happy and stuff, where the mean people are nice and of course the movie made the lady, who cared for the boy very much and tried to keep him safe from harm, look like a bad guy because she didn't know what he needed.

A little while later, my dad said to get my shoes on, which meant he noticed I hadn't put up the last third of the Christmas lights yet and he was either going to tell me to do so or help me do them, which would make me feel bad. I told him I had been using the rubber boots outside so I'll just wear those. He told me to put on my shoes because we're going to see a movie. Well now, this is a surprise. I asked if he really wanted to see one tonight, since I hadn't finished the lights yet, nor mopped the kitchen like I was supposed to, and he said he already has the tickets.

The movie we saw was "Die Another Day" which was a very, very cool movie with awesome action and a really good plot, in my opinion. It could've left out a little of the love/sex scenes though, but I'm weird, remember? But hey, it's James Bond. I asked my dad if there was a reason he was taking me out (thinking maybe he wanted to talk to me about something on the way) and he said it was just to go do something with me and to remember that he loves me.

geeez, parents are weird. Hey ya know if you ever do get kicked out of your house we have an extra bed at my house since my brother left/got kicked out. LOL

Anywho, ya know what I hate about Bond James Bond? Besides the fact that he changes his looks every few movies... he always has a different love intrest in each movie. Can't that loser ever keep a relationship going?

Oh well... ~Kitsuchi
