| Haha, this time at work the schedule was really bad.
Jesse was supposed to open at 7, and I was supposed to close
starting at 4 in the afternoon. Surprise, surprise, he doesn't show,
meaning I was the only stockman there all day, starting at 4. The
carts weren't as bad as they could've been, since they obviously had
other people getting carts. But once I was on, no one helped me and
I spent all the time up until my last break just working by the main
entrance, and didn't even have a chance to touch the garden area
until then, plus I had quite a few carry-outs. Carly was there on
her day off doing Christmas shopping for people, though she didn't
find anything. It started raining a lot. After my last break I
finally went to the garden center and got the many carts over there,
and right when I did, I heard Fred ask Brian over the walkie-talkie
where I was. Obviously he went out and saw how the carts were by the
main entrance (where I had just been doing carts) and there were
carts there and he didn't see me so he thought I wasn't working on
them. Brian said that I should be out on the parking lot, and Fred
said "okay". I better not hear about my freaking productivity being
low just because Fred works overnight and starts working around my
lunch time and doesn't see how the carts were before that and only
bases things off of what he sees right now. I was working as well as
I could the whole time I was there, wasting maybe a combined total
of 5 minutes out of 7 paid hours. Well, I was soaked when I was
done, but at least I don't have to work tomorrow! |
