We finally got our new stockman who would be
replacing Nolan since he was only temporarily being stockman since
Jesse and Shane got fired/quit. I was told he was from Texas. At
first glance he looked like a tall computer geek/cowboy. His name is
Robert. After talking to him, I discovered he immediately was the
stockman I would be talking to mostly. He's really cool. He seems to
have the same view as me in a lot of things, and he does the carts
very well, leaving me with no work, which isn't really good for me
since I'll be bored, but I won't have to worry about the carts
getting low if I have a carry-out or something. I finally asked how
old he was, since he's married and he looked about 28. He said he
was hoping I would say something like "28", but he's 36. He said he
likes Oregon a lot, especially the weather. I asked what part of
Texas he was from, and he said Houston. I told him I had once
visited someone in Texas, and the bus' destination was Houston, but
the person lived in Santa Fe. He said he's been there, and was
surprised they didn't have a Greyhound station there.
Melissa was there, and we had a really nice chat, and she told me
about how her sister might be trying to date one of her
ex-boyfriends, which would be a very very bad thing, and would open
up some past wounds from her relationship with him. I'm glad to be
there to listen for her, and she said that's what she needs right
now.
On a side note, I realized that I probably make Carly sound like
a bummer friend, and I'm sorry if any of you got that impression.
It's just me, I have a habit of making it sound like everyone hates
me, but that's not the case. She's really a joy to have as a friend,
and I only have good feelings toward her. Sure, maybe I'm not sure
what she's thinking, but she's a really nice friend way more often
than not, and don't think differently just because I've focused on
the bad in past entries (I just read some of them and noticed that).
Oh, I just remembered, Adam came into Wal-Mart. The Adam who
lives right behind me. I haven't seen him since he, his "cousin",
and I went to the Moose Head Pool Hall and played DDR. He was just
starting at it really, but when I talked to him today, he said he
was a lot better, and from the songs he said he could pass, he
sounds about as good as I! He said his whole class is going to
Putters this Thursday and it's encouraged that he brings anyone he
wants, so he wants to bring me since the other 2 DDR fans in his
class pretty much suck so he can't play any of his songs with them,
even if he does it on maniac and they do it on basic, because they
might not even pass the basic one. So he wants me to come so he'll
finally have someone to play songs on maniac with. I'm really
looking forward to this! This is gonna be great! But I gotta wait
until Thursday. Oh, Melissa is going to compile a list of movies to
watch when she invites people over, and I said she has to rent "The
Emporer's New Groove", "The Thief and the Cobbler", "Monty Python
and the Holy Grail", and maybe "Monty Python and the Jabberwok". She
said she'll try for those. She's supposed to call me either this
Tuesday or Wednesday so we can tell each other our pitiful stories
about past crushes and/or relationships, lol, and so she can give me
more updates on her sister's situation that she's so worried about.
Well, I've got DBZ episodes in Japanese to watch! Laters (and don't
be afraid to note me, people). |
