Today at 5:20pm I went with my neighbor, Adam, to
Putters with his family and school (very small Christian school).
The last time I had gone to play DDR with him, he was pretty much
just starting. Now, he's almost as good as I am (8-foot songs). It
was fun, but he kept dissing on how bad he was doing and he usually
does as well as I was doing. *shrug* I don't care. We had pizza, of
course, since it's the only food they serve. It lasted a little
longer than I was expecting and I had plans with Carly afterward. I
was supposed to call her when I got back home which was supposed to
be like an hour earlier. Anyway, I called her at 8 thinking she'd
think it's too late. Surprisingly, she was fine with keeping the
plans and said she would come get me in 15 minutes, but to be warned
that the house would be a mess and she'd be in sweats. Lol, that's
fine, I don't mind things like that. When my mom comes and says our
house is a mess and asks how I can stand it, I look around and say I
hadn't even noticed. Anyway, I took a much-needed shower (DDR makes
you sweat) and then she took me to her house. Her hair was shorter
and died a dark red. I told her it looked Deborah-ish. She looked at
me weird and said that it looks like a Carly haircut, not a Deborah
one. Whatever, it reminded me of the name Deborah. Her dog had
recently had a stroke and had seizures daily and was just out of it.
We watched "CSI" which is a crime solver show and then we went to
her room (the only DVD player in the house) and watched "Thumb
Wars". A parody of "Star Wars" and all the characters were thumbs
with real eyes and mouth electronically placed on them. It was
hilarious, but only a half-hour long. Kizzy (her dog) had a seizure
while her head was laying on my knee. That was kinda weird. Then she
took me home since my dad called and said he wanted to go to bed,
but he didn't want to leave the front door unlocked, so he had to
wait up for me since I don't have a key, so I needed to come home
right away. After that, I basically talked to Kelli a little (yes,
we're talking, but things have changed between us [at least from
what I used to think]) and I'm reminded at how life's no paradise.
