Sparkly 2/7/2003
Today I took my driving test. We almost didn't get to again because my mom forgot the second piece of ID. But it seemed like 10 minutes for the whole test. I got this guy with grey hair in a ponytail and he was all monotone. When I was done, he's like, "You passed. You passed easily." Then he told me some things I did wrong, which weren't very bad, and most were legal, just something to watch out for. So I have my license now, but no car still. Tracy said her dad would probably know of a good car for me to get and might be able to get a discount on one for me. That'd be cool. Melissa was there but only until 6. She said she and her sister, Julie, are trying to quit smoking by this Thursday. That would be way cool. I hate whenever I see her smoke. When she was leaving, I ran up to her and asked if she wanted to go to a nearby restaurant. She didn't want to at all, and said she doesn't want to sound mean, but she just wants to get home, and doesn't feel like doing anything. She said she's trying to stop smoking so she's feeling crabby. That's understandable. I hope I'm not getting too clingy for her, too. I have a bad habit of that, though Tracy said that clingy isn't necessarily a bad thing; it depends on the person. She said I'm clingy, but she doesn't mind, and that it's different with me than when other guys flirt with her. She said I'm like one of the girls. I'm not sure whether to be happy about that or not.

Everything was sparkly outside. There was frost on all the cars and they all looked pretty. I walked Tracy out to her car and she was going to scrape the ice off the front and back windows, but she was cold so I took the ice scraper from her and did it so she could keep her hands in her pockets. She liked that. I told her that it's nice to be able to do something nice for someone and not have them worry about why I'm doing it. It's just nice to do favors for the heck of it sometimes. Well, I just told Kelli I'm going to bed, so I better make good on my word. Later.
