Buncha stuff 2/26/2003
Okay, so first off, with Carly. You know her dog's been having some problems, and it was supposed to be over. Well... not so. After the medication that made her dog act drunk, she was supposed to bring her into the vet again for one last checkup. Well, they didn't call her that day for her to come get Kizzy. The next day they said they think she has Cushing's Disease. He said that the worst case he's seen is a 32, and that her dog is at 50. So basically, it's really likely that she'll die from it. Carly loves that dog to death. The dog sleeps in her bed, and she already spent around $1,000 in a month on the dog's vet bills. So of course, she'd hate to see her go. The vet said that it's very unlikely that this will do anything, but there the pills for it if she wants to try. She's trying it and I told her I'd cross my fingers for her. If Kizzy stops eating or it's been 10 days, whichever comes first, she's supposed to bring the dog in again for the vet to see how she's doing. The worst-case scenerio is that the pills don't stop it and then she'll start losing her hair and go blind, and then eventually die. Carly said she would put her to sleep before that happened. Of course she is out of money and I offered to help her pay for anything but she doesn't want me to (of course). But at least if she really needs it, she can always pay me back. She said that Kizzy is peeing like every hour, but she can't make her sleep outside since that would be mean, especially if these are her last days. So she still has her sleep in her bed, she just set her alarm to wake her up every hour to take her out. I feel bad for her and hope she has a chance to get some good sleep when she can. Her mother is also home for another month and a half now to recover from her surgery. She wants to do something with me tomorrow since we both have it off. We haven't been able to do anything for the longest time. She wants to see a movie, and that's certainly alright with me. She said she's been looking for me on AIM but I haven't been on. I know, I know, I've either been at work, and/or someone else was using the computer, and/or I've been playing my game. I can just talk to Carly on the phone, anyway, unless she's online. Then I have to get online since she only has one phone line. But don't be surprised if I'm not on AIM very much; it just doesn't sound appealing to me right now.

Now, with Melissa, we're buddies again. On Sunday her lunch was a lot earlier than mine. I told her that I had wanted to get pizza and we could both eat it. She said we should plan that beforehand so we could take our lunches at the same time. Well, on Monday I went and reminded her of when she's supposed to take her lunch and she thanked me for doing so, but sounded kinda grumpy. When lunch came, she had been waiting about 5-10 minutes and told me that I took long enough. She said she was in a grouchy mood. I could tell. Half the things I said she made me feel dumb for saying, but the other half she replied nicely to. She said she wasn't grouchy for a certain reason, but I noticed that she wasn't grouchy to anyone she said something to that she passed. At Little Caesar's Pizza we went and picked it up since I had gone there 30 minutes before then and ordered it. She told me that she would kick me if the pizza was shaped as a heart. I was like, "Why would it be shaped like that?" She said the girl who gave it to us gave a weird look like that. Okay, why in the world would she think I'd make a heart pizza? Is there some misunderstanding going on between us? Anyway, I hope the grumpiness wasn't just toward me for something I did or she thinks I did. I don't understand people sometimes. If she had any problem with having lunch with me, then why would she suggest making plans for it the day before?

And one more block of news. My cousin, Janean, on my dad's side, is here from Corona in southern California. She's black because her dad is. I haven't see her for 10 years. She came by plane and my dad drew out a map for me... ME to drive there with Andrea and pick her up while my dad was at work and my mom was at the home-school help place with Ben and Catie. Well, the map was fine except the second half of it was a mirror image of what it should be, so I ended up just following the signs. When we got there, she was in the lobby. She was surprised to see us because she had seen us walking to the doors and thought, "Who are these crazy people with no jackets on?" I guess we were the only ones there with no coats, lol. She hasn't seen a lot of good movies like the Monty Python ones, "Groundhog Day", "The Truman Show", or "The Majestic". We rented "Behind Enemy Lines" last night and watched it. Tonight I saw "The Master of Disguise". I never ever want to see so much as the cover of that movie again. It's so stupid. When we were done, Amy said, "Okay, take out the DVD and throw it away."

I finished Amy's homework assignment, too. Actually she wrote it, I just gave the people funny personalities and added in extra stuff. The ending is kind of dumb and abrupt but I had to finish that part that night and not make it too long.
