'Daredevil' 2/27/2003
Yep, after I tried mowing the lawn to find out the belt on it is broken, and after weed-eating all the weeds around our long fence instead, I went to the mall with Carly (for the first time since like November) and she wanted to see a movie. We looked through all of them and there was only one that we both wanted to see, and we wanted to see it above all the others. You already guessed the movie, though. Anyway, it was cool. Carly liked it a lot more than "Spiderman", but then again, she didn't like "Spiderman" at all. I liked it, and "Daredevil" was a little better, but some parts were also cheesier, like Daredevil has super-human abilities just by being blinded whereas Spiderman was bitten by a genetically-altered spider. And the girl in the movie could jump further than any human no matter how much martial arts training they've had. I also like the Spiderman costume a little better. This one had a little better action and was more serious, but "Spiderman" had more comedy and believable parts. Aside from the movie, we had pizza from Sbarro's beforehand. We shared a large drink. Now, my mother had mentioned something about knowing someone well enough to share a drink, but Carly and I just think of it as sharing because it's cheaper. But when Carly went to get the straws, she only got one. Maybe she just doesn't see a point to get 2 since it's no big deal if she shares a straw. I don't know if she'd do that with just anyone or not, but oh well. I always try to read into things, lol. It was just really cool doing something with her again. I wish we could've done more than just the movie, though, but she has to take care of her dog and mom. We really need something like a whole day to ourselves; in my opinion at least. Maybe it's just the wish of a lonely guy who likes hanging out with girls whom he would like to get closer to. *shrug*

Hey he wasn't just blinded, he was blinded by some sort of chemichal that wasn't supposed to come into contact with the human body. Like the Chevy Chase gets his powers in Modern Problems. It's about as likely to happen a being bitten by genetically changed spider that somehow managed to escape without being noticed.

So there, :P
