Not so hot 3/30/2003
My day wasn't so hot, unless you mean temperature-wise. In that way it was hot enough. I wore my black tank top with my black button-up-the-front shirt with bright orange, fiery dragons over the tank top. I called Tracy's dad again and told him the fuse thing didn't work. He said the only things that don't go through a fuse are the odometer and the starter. I read the part of my Haynes manual on how to remove and install the odometer and was almost there when I found out it was getting time to leave for work so I had to put it back together. I got it back right in time to leave.

While driving, I noticed that my stereo face didn't come out, and I couldn't pull it out. Also, my car felt more sluggish than usual, and after I drove it, I could smell burning rubber like the belt wasn't turning with the gear. Ugh, stupid car.

At work it was too hot and I wanted to take off my outer shirt and just have my tank top but I found out it's against the dress code, but sleeveless shirts are allowed.

Carly left an hour after I got there and again, I only saw her when she walked out to her car. This time I happened to be near where her car was but just out of talking distance. She looked over and I'm sure she saw me, but just kept walking and got in her car and left, without a wave or anything. Hmph, see if I care.

Tracy also left an hour after I got there. She saw me and called my name like usual and I walked her to her car while she told me about the trip the to coast I missed. She said she didn't get to go to the actual beach and was thinking of going again on Wednesday. Then she asked if I was going to drive my car to the coast on Wednesday and I said I might if I can find someone to go with. She played along and said she wonders who I could find, lol. She also said that it was hard for her dad to tell me over the phone what to do with my car, but he could fix it himself. She suggested offering to take him to dinner for the price, though, and named a few places he likes.

Well, later on Melissa got there. When she was going to the smokers' area for her break. I went and asked her what she thought of the note, even though it was meaningless now, since she had already told me about her and her fiance, though she always refers to him as her boyfriend. She started with, "Well, I don't want to be mean but..." Then she told me how our relationship is a work one. We associate at work and it's nothing more than that, and though she couldn't find the words for it, I'm not the right type of person, I'm not in her scope of guys, I'm too innocent and naive and inexperienced and a goody-two-shoes basically. I already knew that and the note wasn't to win her over or anything. Clearly the note was to show that I felt she should sit down and think before she does anything like break the engagement off, and I used the fact that I would like to be with her but I'd rather them stick together to add more meaning to what I was saying. She thought I was hitting on her, lol. She did say she was flattered, though, about what I said about her in the note.

Tracy came in later to buy pluggins with good smells. I told her to have fun buying it and she said I could come along and take my break right then, so I did. She bought a pillow, which she held against her tummy and I kept trying to take it because it was soft. I helped her decide on what smelly pluggin to get. She got the spiced apple one. Her fiance called her cell phone and when he heard I was with her I heard her saying to calm down because I guess he was acting jealous. I ended up carrying her pillow out for her, hehe.

The day as a whole was too warm, and my head hurt part of the time, and I didn't feel good, and it was slow and boring.

While writing this (at 3am) I took a break and laid on the couch only to fall asleep and wake up around 7. I had a dream that instead of the computer screen, the computer showed up on the nearby TV and Ben was playing a game on it and I couldn't finish typing this. I woke up and Becky was on and she said a few things, but I was going to eat breakfast so I put her on hold. I ended up laying down again and I slept until 9. During that I had a dream that I got up and Kelli was on AIM with a new screenname that was "Jay9" and she wanted to talk. In the dream I went back and forth from eating and talking to her and I'd keep having to scroll up and see what she wrote. Then I woke up and finished this. Weird.
