First of all, today is my mother's birthday. She is
now 44 which is funny because her birthday is 4/4. I didn't realize
it was her birthday, however, until I got home from work tonight at
midnight. Maybe I should've done my chores easier :(
So we moved around the furniture in my room and I had to vacuum
where all the stuff had been. I already dropped my car off at
Steve's place last night. He called and said something I didn't
like. He said the distributor I bought was for a V8 only and I have
a V6! Ugh! Why didn't the stupid website specify! Now I have to
return it and get my $200 back and look around for another one and
make sure it's for a V6. Well, I looked all over and only found one
freakin' place (even eBay didn't have any that I needed) and I
emailed the guy and he didn't email me back yet (sounds like someone
else I know). :Þ So after my mom finally got back from picking
Andrea up from work at McDonald's, she drove me to Steve's to pick
up my car. He said the noise when I used my brakes was the result of
5 rocks being up in this area near the brakes and he got them out. I
drove to work and the noise still sounded when I braked. -_-
Anyway, Melissa was at work, but only long enough to smile at me
and start to tell me something but, then say she had a brain fart and
forgot. Carly came into work an hour after I did but we didn't say
anything to each other all day, though we never happened to cross
paths, either, to give opportunity for a little "hey". I just saw her
come into work and I was way too far away doing carts. Well, as I've
said before, I've done most of the calling and going up and talking
to her and the effort in the past, so if she really wants to see me
or talk with me or hang out, then she knows where I work and she
knows where I live and my phone number. I can't be the only one
going out of my way.
Tracy also came into work later on and we talked a little bit,
but not much. She was wearing her black, ankle-length skirt with
flames on it that she sewed herself. I told her it's a hot skirt.
Amy got "Catch-22" from the library at school because I kept
telling her she has to read it. I'm actually reading it more than
her, lol. It's a great book with many hilarious parts. OMG, it's so
funny. It's really good, too. She forgot to bring it to school today,
so I took advantage of that and brought it to work and read it on
both breaks and my lunch. I saw my mom's van pull up next to the
front doors and she was in it with my family, minus my dad, and said
they were getting pizza and asked if I wanted any. I gladly
accepted. They gave me 2 slices, which strangely was enough for me
today, and then they drove off. I pushed the carts with one hand and
ate the pizza with the other after I had already finished one. That
was my lunch after my lunch since I didn't feel like eating anything
before.
Tracy's parents and sister and her boyfriend appeared at Wal-Mart
and I had a little chat with her dad about my car and where I should
look for a correct distributor. Randy also came there and I was
surprised because I thought he was in Washington. He told me that he
wasn't moving there, but merely bringing his fiance back home and he
stayed there with her family for a while. Great, another
long-distance relationship. I can't believe I ever wanted one of
those. It seems like the shallowest thing unless you visit
regularly. He wanted to do something tomorrow and I recalled that my
mom found out that "Spirited Away" was in fact playing at
Cinemaworld today. I told him I wanted to see that and that Amy
would, as well, though I'd have to ask her (to see if she'd be
willing to go with Randy also, and it was a tough choice for her and
this is the #1 movie on her list).
Tracy left around 10 and I walked her to her car as usual.
Halfway there she called her fiance because she said she would. This
time, instead of answering his question of whom she was with like she
usually does (sometimes I wonder if she enjoys making him upset
about her hanging out with me), she denied being around anyone. She
had never done that before. Maybe it has something to do with her
threat to call off the engagement if he complains to her about me
again, though I'm skeptical as to how serious she was in stating
that. When she was leaving, she smiled at me and waved as to not let
him hear her talking to me. Well, whatever. I'll let things just
happen how they're going to and not interfere so I can't mess things
up.
