Sorry I haven't been updating. I'm just now writing
this entry (what happened on the 8th) and it's the 12th right now.
Well, if I can remember, today I was to drive Carly to Cinema
World/Regal Cinemas across the street from the Valley River Center
(mall) to see "Spirited Away" for my second time. This is the first
time she's been in my car. All the other times she drove me because
I didn't have a car or license.
I first had to paint the second coat on the bathroom walls and
ceiling because we are refinancing and trying to make the house look
all nice and stuff. When I got to her house (after missing the
street and having to turn around) I saw her outside and I went in to
see her new dog (she had to put her previous one to sleep so it
wouldn't suffer). :( Then it was off to the movies, which I would pay
for since she didn't have the money, and she will try to pay me
back, though I'm not sure if I'll let her. I got popcorn and a
medium Sprite, and although she didn't want anything, I got gummy
worms for her. The movie was just as good as the first time I saw
it. She didn't eat a single gummy worm, though, so I ended up eating
them.
She wasn't very talkative on the way up, nor the beginning of the
way back, and I told her so. She apologized and said she's been
worrying about the vet appointment tomorrow for her new dog that
looks a little skinny for her comfort (the dog turns out to be
fine).
When we left the theater and went to my car, we saw that I had
left the lights on by mistake (oops). I said it sounded like
something I'd do and she said she's done that millions of times,
though she seemed a little worried that it might not start. When we
got in and it started up, she let a huge sigh of relief, almost
exaggerated from what it sounded to me.
We stopped at Blockbuster so she could rent "Red Dragon" for her
mom. Back at her house, she said she had fun and that she might call
me tomorrow. I told her I was glad we could do this. I got a hug
from her, too. I always love her hugs. I don't get many from people,
but she always lays her head on my shoulder when we hug and I like
that a lot. For some reason, she seems a little prettier than
before.
