Enough putting off 4/16/2003
I took out my new inner and outer rubber seal strips for both doors of my car, as well as the rubber wing part in front of each window, out of the back of my car. Then I unscrewed/ripped the old, corroded ones out and put the new ones in. Some of the screws were inaccessable so I had to tear the strip off the screw to get them out. I got the small wing parts on easily enough, as well as the outer seal strips, though some of the screw holes wouldn't line up so I ended up drilling holes through the metal with the drill bit that came with the inner strips. The inner ones, however, also came with staples that were supposed to stick through and the be bent over with pliers. The problem is, the thing they were supposed to staple to didn't have any holes and was made of plastic. I had to take those off for both doors and drill little holes in sync with holes in the seal strip. Then I stuck the staples through and used pliers to bend the too-short legs over. It wasn't something I'd want to do twice, but now it looks a lot better and there is less wind noise, though it's still there.

Well, with that over with, I then went to Randy's house to show him "Princess Mononoke" since he liked "Spirited Away". I was also supposed to bring the DBZ movies he hasn't seen. I guess Amy's friend, Joann, was borrowing them so we had to go over there and get the ones she already watched. We got those and I went to Randy's and he took one look at "Princess Mononoke" and said he's already seen it, though he didn't recognize the title. Grr. So instead, we watched movie #6 which is the Metal Kooler one. Then his mom and brother and sister got home so we had to turn it off. We talked a little and then I headed home, but stopped by Wal-Mart since it's on the way from his house. I checked to see when "Spirited Away" will be available, and they said they got it yesterday but only got 4 and they were now sold out. I got a box of crackers and said "hi" to Carly. After a brief conversation she said that she might call in tomorrow and she'd call me if she does.

When I got home, I saw a note saying that Good Guys called and said my stereo is ready for me to pick up. Yay! I'll do that tomorrow.

I got Spirited Away and Castle in the Sky for my birthday on DVD. I haven't watched SA yet, cause I'd wanted to see the other one longer than I had been waiting to see it.

thanx for the email

LOL, I hadn't even noticed that I had left out the word "gift"! Don't I feel stupid! I know how Carly feels, tho. I'm the same way. And I do love the nickname you gave me. It made me blush a little. LOL It's funny that you said you like Savage Garden 'cause I'm listening to their first album now. Darren Hayes went solo now and has a beautiful voice! You should check out his stuff [× Moonstruck ×]

*mumbles* Stupid character limit. Do you have an aol or aim screen name? Maybe we could chat sometime. E-mail me at MysticMoonFairie@aol.com and we could talk if you're ever on. Notes are so impersonal and I like making new friends. :o}
