Yesterday I worked. It was Sunday and there was only
an opener and a closer (me). It was really busy there because I
guess losers were getting last minute Mother's Day gifts (well, I'm
a loser, too, because I got my gift at the last minute, but on the
night before). Tracy left right after I got there... again. Jeez,
what's with her schedule lately? She can't keep doing this to me,
lol. I did see her leave and somewhat walked with her to her car,
though, but she couldn't talk much at her car. She looked so cute,
though (she always does), partly due to her personality.
After I filled up the main entrance carts I went and did the
garden side since it's paid a whole lot less attention to by other
stockmen. After I finished that I went back to the front and saw
that their carts were about half full. Wonderful. I didn't even have
time to start on them when I got called to Electronics for a
carry-out. I got there and Blair was trying to get one of the
display TVs off the shelf and he couldn't get it very well. We
had to wait until Russell came and got it down (he's really tall and
has long arms) and then I waited around and watched "Castle in the
Sky" on the display TVs while Blair rang the guy up. It took
freakin' forever, but finally it was time to bring it out.
When I got to the carts, they were really low and it was already
past time of my break. I filled them up and just needed to put one
more row of 10 carts in (it holds about 90) when I got called to
Electronics for another carry-out. Jeez! I was walking back there
and saw someone with a boxed desk wanting help out and figured they
were the ones since Electronics usually pages for Furniture since
Furniture doesn't have a phone and is very near. I helped them out,
then got called again to Electronics and it was Nick this time and
he said that the desk wasn't what he was calling for. Some guy
wanted a TV (in a box this time) and it was a lot quicker. After
that, I quickly finished filling up the carts and took my break.
I walked to Subway since Sidney (I don't know why I thought her
name was Amanda) would be there and I could see her, plus get my
Linkin Park CD back. I knew it would take longer than the 15 minutes
of my break, but I didn't care, and you don't clock out for those
breaks. Sidney was there and she gave me my CD back and said that
it was okay, but she likes older stuff better. She also said that
today is her last day and she's going to work somewhere else and go
back to school. Noooo! She and the food were the best reasons to eat
at Subway, lol. She said she'll come around once in a while and she
accepted me giving her my number and said she would be okay with
hanging out sometimes. I was hungry and got a foot-long.
The managers were on double watch because the regional manager
was visiting and was still at the Springfield store because he
caught them off guard. Haha for them. Ruby came to me for some
advice (for once, usually I'm going to people for advice) on
something that she wanted a second opinion on. I guess that Steven
and Stephanie (I went to school with her) are going out, but Steven
has been messing around with Melissa (the girl who isn't talking to
me). By the way, Melissa smiled at me when we passed, but I don't
know if she didn't realize it was me at first, or what. I'm not
really worrying about it, though. Anyway, Steven and Melissa tell
Ruby things and Ruby asked me if she should tell Stephanie.
Basically, Steven wrote Melissa a letter saying to call him. And he
also told her that if she ever breaks up with her boyfriend/fiance
that he's available. Ruby was thinking of telling Stephanie (since
she goes to Ruby for information, too) and she was asking my opinion
about it. I told her I think she should tell Stephanie since she
has a right to know that sort of thing.
Well, I fell asleep on the couch waiting for the computer to be
free. I woke up with a blanket on me and in my jeans with my belt
still on and my lower back was sore. I guess I slept weird or
something, and the shower didn't help much. A back massage would be
nice. :P Unfortunately I never get those. I'm not complaining, though.
