Anyway, before it was even time for her break, I saw her coming out of the store, and toward me. When she goes home at night, she NEVER goes out of her way to say "bye" to me. If I want to see her off I have to go over to her and she usually has the excuse that she didn't see me. But she doesn't even look around a little. But yesterday she came up to me and I asked where she was going. She said she was going home because she had a migraine. I asked if her car was over here, knowing perfectly well where she parked, and she said she was just coming over to say "hi". She also said that I could come over after work if I wanted to (hehe) and I said I didn't know, but in a rolling-eyes voice. She said that I didn't have to, but in a sarcastic tone. I said that it would be after 11:30 and didn't know if she'd be up that late with a migraine. She said it would be gone by then. Then she wanted to leave, but bumped my elbow with hers when she walked by. I asked if she wanted a hug and she turned around and said "yes" and came back over to me. She was carrying a few things and dropped her keys. After she picked them up, I said, "Sorry, I don't hug people who drop their keys." She said, "Oh, shut up and give me a hug so I can go home."

I wanted to rent the movie before I went to her house, but only Blockbuster and Hollywood Video would be open now. I called and only Hollywood had the movie. I went there on my lunch and they said I didn't have an account, but my parents did, but I wasn't on it so I couldn't rent on it. They asked for my license to make an account for me, but they needed another piece of identification, as well, that strickly had to be either a utility bill, a credit or debit card with a Visa logo on it, or my car registration. It seems I can't do a lot of things because of stuff like that. Everyone needs to have an ATM card with a stupid Visa logo on it. Who cares about the Visa logo! And every freaking ATM charges you money to get money out, and sometimes it's because of the stupid fee that you don't have enough to get the minimum of $20 out. I knew I had my registration because I put it right in my glove compartment when I got it, and never moved it. Guess what? I couldn't find it anywhere. I looked and looked many times. Good thing I haven't been pulled over! So I couldn't create an account and I couldn't rent it on my parents' account, and they would have to come in and add me to theirs. They couldn't even call and do it over the phone! Well, I went back to work in defeat, and found out that I was 24 minutes late. That's what made me late, the stupid Hollywood Video restrictions.

Well, after work I went to Carly's house and found out that her brother's girlfriend was there in his room, and that she spends the weekends over there. They're lucky. I'm not allowed to spend the night at a girl's house. It's not even because they don't trust me. It's because it looks bad and my mom says there's no point to, since you don't see each other when you're asleep and you could just as easily go home to sleep, then go back over there in the morning and it would be the same. Ha, I'm sorry, Mom, but it wouldn't. They said that if I want to spend the night at a house with a girl there, I'll have to move out to do it. Well, we laid on her bed with her cute puppy between us. She asked what movie I wanted to see and I saw "The Princess Bride" and said I hadn't seen it before and she was like, "You haven't? Then we're watching that." Leia, her puppy, kept moving around. Then after the movie Carly turned and laid on her back away from me and we talked a little. She was really tired and I finally said I should go so that she wouldn't fall asleep and then I'd have to wake her up by crawling over her to leave. She said she wouldn't mind if she fell asleep and I woke her up and she apologized for being so tired. What a thing to apologize for.

Also, Melissa has been smiling whenever we pass in the aisle lately, so I decided that she's not mad at me anymore. I overheard her talking to Lori after Lori left the break room after talking to me a little. This is what I heard:
Lori: So he's not talking to you?
Melissa: Not very much. He's really nice and the sweetest guy I've met. Like one time I was talking to another associate and he just came up and started telling me this story...

and that's all I heard because they went out of range. I don't know if they were talking about me or about Steven, because Melissa and Steven were hanging around each other and it's usually the thing that's being talked about, plus I don't remember ever going up and telling her a story when she's talking to someone else. I always would walk past when she's talking to someone else and only talk to her when she would be by herself. But when she left that night to go home (when everyone went home at 10), her truck drove passed me as I was pushing carts and I waved at her and she waved back. The next day I passed where she was working and I asked how things were going. She answered in her happy voice and talked like we used to, so I guess we're cool again. Just yesterday I was walking by and she didn't see me, and I whispered her name and she looked back and me. I stuck my tongue at her and she smiled.

Also, last night Fred was the manager and after I got off lunch at 9, I came up to him to ask him something, but instead, he gave me instructions like he had come up to me. He said how there were lots of carts in the parking lot and he wants them all picked up before 10 since everyone's going home then, even me. He also said, "Nothing like pressure to move you along, eh?" Ugh!!! *backhands my palm and makes slapping noise* I don't want to go home at 10! I'm scheduled until 11:30 and I want to get paid that much! I already took a freaking hour-long lunch, but if I have to go home at 10, then I won't have worked a long enough shift to have an hour lunch. Oh well, I'll just take a half-hour lunch tomorrow to make up for it, or no lunch at all. If someone comes to me and says that my schedule says for me to take an hour lunch, I'll just say that Fred told me not to work what I'm scheduled for (by telling me to go home at 10 instead of 11:30) and so I'm disregarding what my schedule says (including my scheduled lunch). They're trying to cut hours, but they can't make me go home early and still take as long of a lunch. If they cut my hours one place, I'll work longer another. I WILL get the hours I deserve.

You really like work! You talk about the peeps at work a whole lot! I still haven't seen you online. What time do you normally go online? [mini-lyricmaniac]

Hmm. You never seem to be on when I am. Is there any way we could communicate via email? The issue really is a pressing one. [mini-lyricmaniac]

What a busy guy you've been! lol No wonder you're not online all that much anymore. I hope you enjoy Thursday 'cause I know you're exhausted. I was thinking of writing a new e-mail to get off the subject we've been on. Get back to better things.
[× Star Gazer ×]

I've sent you two emails. Let me know when you've had a chance to read them. [mini-lyricmaniac]
