Stuff after

Well, I borrowed Xenogears from Amy's friend, Joann.
It's made by the same awesome company who made the Final Fantasy
games, as well as Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Secret of Mana 1 and
2, Legend of Mana, Kingdom Hearts, and others. It's for the
PlayStation and was made in 1998, the year after Final Fantasy 7.
I've always heard that it's an awesome game but really hard to get
a hold of, like Chrono Trigger. Well, I borrowed it and copied it and
since my PS2 has a mod chip in it, I can play copied games. I knew
that would come in handy someday, hehe. It's a cool game with a good
storyline. I don't really like the gameplay that much, though, but
it's not that bad. It's like the gundam series. The people pilot
"gears", which are mobile suits, and the main character, Fei Fong
Wong, looks like Wufei with one large bang.
The in-game movies aren't 3D animation like the Final Fantasy
games, but anime-style and they talk during the movies, unlike the
Final Fantasy games. I've been playing that recently.
Phil got back to me about his neighbor who is going to be putting
in a new engine and transmission into my car and he said the total
cost will be under $1,000. I went to the bank and applied for a
personal loan for that much and got approved, but I needed to give
them my title until I pay it off. I don't carry it with me so I'll
have to wait until Tuesday for them to be open. So on Tuesday I'll
get the money and call up Phil and see if his pal can do it in those
2 days since they are my days off.
I tried getting custom license plates saying "SAIYAN", but that's
already taken. That surprised me. The guy said that Oregon is the
lowest in the country for DMV fees, but a law just got passed that
will double all DMV fees in Oregon. That will put us 3rd lowest he
said, lol. "SEPHIROTH" is too long, and so is the one I'd go with if
it wasn't too long: "SAIYA-JIN". I tried "JENOVA" since that's
Sephiroth's mom and she started everything in Finan Fantasy 7, but
that was taken, too. I've thought of one that I'm sure won't be
taken, but I have to wait until Tuesday when they are open again. I
want it to say "DBZ-28". DBZ is of course Dragonball Z, and Z28 is a
Camaro, only better, so no one will put Z28 on a non-Camaro, so that
narrows it down a lot. I'd put "DBZ28" but you have to have 6
characters.
I also got tired of my cool Converses getting torn up from my
car-pushing job, so I decided to go out and get some sturdier shoes
against my desire to stay with Converse. I thought of what shoes to
get and decided to go with Squall Leonhart's boots. They are really
cool. They are ankle-high black boots with a belt buckle. I looked
through Wal-Mart's selection with no luck. I went to Hot Topic, but
they only had knee-high boots with spikes (which would be cool if I
was dressing up as Sephiroth) and they had boots that go halfway up
the shin and had flames on them, but they only had sizes 7 and
smaller. I went to Payless and found the perfect pair, but they had
laces instead of a belt. I bought them thinking I wouldn't find any
better ones.
At work, Perry came by. He used to be a Stockman. He had some
cool boots on that had laces and a belt thing over the laces. They
looked better than mine. He said he got them at G.I. Joe's. I went
over there and found the ones he had, and also a pair that had 2
zippers going up the boot and laces on the sides that are just for
looks. They are also steel-toed and they're biker boots. I bought
those ones and returned the plain books to Payless. My aunt really
likes them (she also used to be a biker). They'll go even better
when I get my Squall jacket that she is going to make for me (she
sews for her business). Squall's jacket is a black leather jacket
that is cut like Trunks' and has white fur around the collar.
