You know what she did? She came up to me at work
(she's been making a habit of this more than usual) and she told me
she just had the kiss of her life the night before. Something you
have to know is that she doesn't like kissing. But she said that it
was the kind movies are made out of. Supposedly, she and James went
for a drive one night and their "kiss of life" took place there. She
also said that James broke up with his girlfriend. I mean, he's old,
like Tara. Oh well. Her fiance is 28. I guess she likes older guys.
She said she was going to break up with Robert. Well, great, Tracy.
Everyone's happy for you (considering she told everyone, including
Kristen, who doesn't even know her). I haven't been hanging around
her lately. She's gotten weird.
Did I mention I got a sword? It's not all pretty, though. We have
a whole lot of blackberry bushes that need to be cut down, and the 2
options (machette: way too dull, or clippers: no fun) were
unexceptable for me. I was almost confident I wanted to get the
replica of "Sting", which is Frodo's elvin dagger from The Lord of
the Rings, but after bringing it to the salesman's attention, he
explained that the LOTR weapons were mostly for display and would
become dull much quicker. The one he suggested was called the
"Banshee" and in the advertisement, it claimed to be the "ultimate
brush-cutter". He also said it was made of carbon steel, which is
supposed to be better than 440. These were the kinds of swords they
used in wars. Both salesmen gave caution, for this is the sharpest
sword in the store and could effectively be used for accidental
amputation if foolishly wielded. I bought it and tried it at home.
It does perform impressively, though not quite as much as I had
expected. For example: The boy there said if you touched the sharp
edge of the blade, you'd undoubtedly draw blood, though when I tried
it out, it didn't even leave a mark. Oh well. I'm sure most of the
people on here could find a good use for this. Anyone want to borrow
it? |
