Free food 9/27/2003
Right as I was walking from my car to work, I heard my name and saw it was Kristen's boyfriend, Todd. He and I are on good terms and talk a little every time we see each other. He asked if I was coming into work and I said I was and asked if he was picking her up. He said he was.

While coming back from clocking in, I passed both of them and I said she was abandoning me. She said that Phil was still there, and it was his last day (he's going to ICS tomorrow and will then do freight all day). I said I had better be nice to him for once (kidding) and she just looked at me and slightly nodded her head like she was waiting to leave. Then she finally said, "Well, see ya." I walked up to the front and Phil said "hi" to me and said he was going to lunch. I was like, "You're abandoning me, too!"

The day was pretty busy since it's getting close to Halloween. I'm now having second thoughts on whom to dress up as. My options are No-Face, Sephiroth, Vincent Valentine, or Squall Leonhart. I'm leaning more toward Sephiroth. Phil said No-Face would be the easiest, but if I could pull off a Sephiroth, he'd really want to see it. He said he has the best bad guy music (not the song on my previous entry where you fight him, his normal one that plays whenever he shows up throughout the game). Phil had a bit of a stomachache and said he had previously thrown up after eating Taco Bell. I was planning on going to Taco Bell for lunch, so I hoped they got rid of whatever was wrong by the time my lunch was.

I saw this family consisting of a father, 3 teenage boys, and one younger boy, in the electronics department. They looked pretty poor and dirty, and the youngest boy had black jeans on that were way too small and came to about 4 inches above his shoes. They were buying something in the department and I wanted to go over there and steal it away from them and say if he had money for that kinda stuff, get at least the kid some decent pants, not to mention clothes for yourselves.

I went to Taco Bell and, while standing in the line, the person at the counter called a number for someone's order and no one answered. He called a few times more and waited and still no one came to get it. He left it there and went back to making food. I looked around and saw 2 old women sitting with only drinks in front of them and guessed it was probably theirs. I went out of line and took the tray and showed it to them and they were like, "Oh, thank you!" Luckily, no one else came and took my place in line. Once my order was done, the guy gave me some cinnamon and sugar sticks as thanks for helping out with the ladies. I barely had enough room to eat just what I ordered! The mexi-fries tasted iffy, so I skipped them. Everything else was fine and I didn't get a stomachache or anything.

That's about it. I gotta go make lunch now and mop the kitchen floor. See ya.
