Worst day 9/29/2003
Oh man, today sucked. I have a sore throat that started last night. My mom wanted me to go to their homeschool supply place and sign them up for the field trip instead of doing my normal chores. I was all for that. I left at 1 and had to be at work at 3. I got there and filled it all out with the help of a mother and her daughter nearby. When I was done, it was 2, meaning I had an hour to kill. I wasn't about to go home, only to leave for work 10 minutes later, so I went to work. I got there and Phil, with the other ICS people, were getting carts. Inside, Pat, the people greeter, said that there weren't any stockmen scheduled before me, so all day they didn't have anyone getting carts except for other floor associates who were asked to go help out. I went and asked if I could clock in early, since I was there, and they sounded like they need someone. Linda said we can't add any more hours since "they" are the ones who took them away and they knew the consequences. So, I just hung out and relaxed in the break room until 3.

When I came back, I had a headache and the hiccups. Each hiccup made my head hurt. It wasn't hot, but actually a little cold. I began to feel sore in my neck and shoulders. The cold made my skin sensitive to accidental bumps against objects. I also felt really tired and I just wanted to go home right then and sleep. Although I'm content being single right now, times like this would be nice to have a girlfriend who would give me a nice, long head and back rub once I got home. Well, I felt like that the whole time at work and it only got colder while I got more tired. The time went by really slowly, too.

On my lunch, I went and sat in the padded rocking chair in Furniture, and this lady came and asked how much the chair was. I looked and couldn't find a price, but told her that she'd have to buy me, as well, because I wasn't leaving the chair, lol. She found the price and asked how much extra it was for me, too. I said, "Enough for me to retire on." She agreed and said she'd write me a check.

When it was dark, I was getting carts and heard this beeping sound. I looked around and saw someone with a bag getting into a car. The car drove off quickly. He had stolen something and ran out the fire exit. Well, that was my amusement for the night.

It finally came time to go home. The people greeter told me I should have gone home earlier because I didn't look well. Several people asked me if I was alright. At home, I looked at the computer and saw that my brother was playing a game. That made up my mind whether to check my email, notes, and write this entry, or not. I went right to bed.

I really don't need to make you look bad. You do a pretty good job of it yourself. As far as your note in Jamie's diary, I'd love to chat with you! It'd probably be easier if you unblocked me. [mini-lyricmaniac]

You probably should have stayed home to get better, rather than going to work sick. People stealing stuff from your work is not entertainment, weirdo, not unless they get seriously busted. Shoplifters suck... unless they are poor, hungry people stealing food or clothes that they need, that's fine.
Anywho... no, that was all, sorry.

There is to something I can do about it! I can tell you that I don't like it; so there. Hmph.
Anywho, as far as Aragorn & Boromir, I'm sure you'll have a chance to mix them up again soon. ^_^ Next time maybe the outcome will be more favorable to me, ne?
Well, I gotta go write an entry
ja ne
