Family travel 10/7/2003
Last Thursday, Bro. Steve and his family took a trip to Idaho, mostly to see Sis. Pat, since she's really sick and we are afraid she will die from it. Amy went along with them. The next day, my mom went there, as well, and took Andrea, Catie, Ben, and Aunt Vicki, leaving only my dad, Matt, and me here. The house was more peaceful with them all gone, lol. I still have been too lazy to put my sheets on and have been sleeping on the couch for like 5 days now. My dad rented "The One" and "Broken Arrow", both of which I've seen. We were watching "The One" on the night that my family was to return home and my dad was having my mom call him every 20 minutes because she was tired and driving. That way he'd know that she was still awake and okay. If she missed a call, he'd know something was wrong. They arrived at 1 in the morning yesterday.

Brent wanted to know if I had a CD burner. He said he has a lot of songs on zip disks and wants them on a CD. I said I would do it. He brought me his 3 zip disks full of MP3s and gave me like 6 CDs to burn them on. I told him that a zip disk holds 100MB and a CD holds around 700MB, so I'd only need one CD. He said he couldn't believe that all that could fit on one CD, and he said he didn't understand all that talk about megabytes and stuff so he didn't even try to listen. I brought it home and burned his "lots" of MP3s onto one CD and it almost filled it halfway. He said he has around 50 MP3s and when I raised my eyebrows (because I was expecting a lot more) he said, "See, I told you I had a lot." I told him that my playlist has around 2,500, and I don't have all of them on my playlist.

I brought my drawings to show Damaris, but she was working and didn't have a break for a while. She asked if they were drawings in the folder and said that she'll have to bring her DBZ drawings to show me, lol. That was yesterday.

Today, it was all busy around my house because my dad is leaving for Idaho with Nick's mom, Sis. Michelle, to see Sis. Pat tomorrow at 6 in the morning. My dad had job related stuff to do so my mom had to pack his things for him. I decided to put my sheets back on, but my white blanket that I've had since I was really really young has a big hole in it last time we put it in the washing machine. I went to Wal-Mart to find a new one. I found one very similar in material to my white one. Damaris was there and going home, so I caught up to her and showed her my drawings. She looked through them quickly and said they are very good. She said mine are the first ones she's seen that are better than hers. I want to see hers now, lol. She was heading to the bus and I asked why she was riding it. She said it's her only way home today. I asked if she wanted a ride and she kindly refused, saying she was supposed to meet someone at the bus stop (another cashier from work) and didn't want them to think she just ditched her. She said next time I see her walking to the bus stop, I can give her a ride. Yeah, the chances of her not getting a ride from her brother AND her getting off work at the same time as I are pretty slim. Oh well. She's going to be 19 in a few days.

Nick IMed me for the first time since he borrowed my .Hack//Infection game. At that time, he was going on about how I can buy all the .Hack games and he'll buy all the Final Fantasy games and then we can borrow each other's. We haven't had any contact since that happened until tonight when he IMed me. It went like this:

Nick: I want all my things back.
Nick: I'll give you your things back.
Nick: Then I never want to see you again.
Me: Okay.
Nick: I'm not kidding.
Nick: I never want to see you again.
Me: I believe you.
Nick: Good.
Nick: Bye.
(He signed off)

Hmm, I guess that says it. His dad was excommunicated from our church and Nick followed out of choice. It was suggested to me by my parents not to go hang out with him, and now it makes it easy. I wonder if it was his dad using his screen name. No matter. I'll give Final Fantasy X to his mom and have her give it to him next time she sees him. If he makes trouble about me returning it through her, I'll say I thought he never wanted to see me again, lol. It really doesn't bother me at all. It's like, good riddance (This is not the Nick who I work with whom is friends with Carly). He was probably trying to make me feel bad, lol. Oh well. Later.

psh, that's longer than I can save. Consider yourself lucky. ~sniffle~ You put 50 songs on one CD? But then he can't play the CD can he? oh well, I suppose you know what you're doing. Did you get my email yet? I really did send you one...

Woah. Excommunicated? What must one do to be excommunicated? [mini-lyricmaniac]
