Dragged around

I didn't check the time when I woke up, so I have no
idea when it was. The phone rang and no one got it, so I assumed I
was home alone. My bed was so comfortable and I had stuff on my mind
related to why I haven't been my cheerful self lately. When I did
get up, it was 1:43. Jeez, that's late. Right as I did, my dad
pulled into the driveway and called up to me. He asked what I was
doing today, and I said I didn't have any plans. I went and put a
bowl of Grape Nuts into the microwave so they can be warm and soak
up all the milk. Off topic, I finally found Evanescence's other
album that isn't available anywhere. It's called "Origin". I found
it on my file-sharing program after looking for it for many days,
and at the same time, found out that one of my favorite bands, Muse,
has a new album out and people have it on the program as well, so I
got both of those. Whoo-hoo! I burned them right after I downloaded
them. Anyway, my dad asked me if I wanted to go out for breakfast
and I accepted. I said I wanted to go to Sheri's. On the way there,
my mom called and my dad reminded me that he had to go with her to
this park to try out poses so they'd know what poses to put someone
in when my dad takes his senior pictures. I got the strawberry and
whipped cream on Belgian waffles. They are so good! When we were
about done, my mom called again and asked if we were almost done
eating and where we were. I said we were at Sheri's and she said
she'd meet us there, so I told my dad. We went and waited outside in
his Ford Escort. We talked about the guy who got in trouble for
having a tiger and aligator in his apartment, and also a little
about Roy who got attacked. While waiting, he said he'd go see if
the card shop nearby would sell his poster of Auzten Stadium, and
while he was gone, my mom called again and asked where we were. I
said we were still at Sheri's and she asked why we were still there.
She said that my dad was supposed to try out senior picture poses at
the park. I reminded her that she said she'd meet us here, and she
said that when she said she'd meet us "there", it meant at the park.
When my dad came back, I told him and he laughed and we went to the
park.
We took a while checking out all the different places at the park
that could be used as something to pose against, and they used me a
lot. When we were finally done, they decided to get pizza from
Little Caesar's. In the car with my dad, I suggested that they go to
Blackjack's Pizza instead, but he didn't listen to me. I said it was
right around where we were, plus it's cheaper. He said that my mom's
getting it and she wants to get back to an area of town that she
knows better than where we were. He didn't tell me that until he got
annoyed of me talking about it from no response from him. My dad
wanted to stop by a place to deliver one of the posters he did to
someone who bought one. He said for me to stay in the car.
He took a while, of course. After that, he stopped by another place
to do the same thing. He's always doing this kind of stuff for his
business since he got laid off and was forced to start one of his
own to support our family. While waiting for him this time, my mom
called again. She said she was already home, but realized that they
needed another pizza, so she wanted my dad to get one more. When he
got back, I gave the phone to him and he talked to her while he
drove and, the whole time, I wanted to tell him to get it from
Blackjack's since we were still by it and didn't want him to drive
further and further away from it while on the phone. He finally got
off the phone and I said we should go there again. He finally said
that we weren't going there, so I should stop talking about it. I
asked what was wrong with it. He said that it's probably more
expensive than Little Caesar's. I said again that it was cheaper,
and he didn't believe me. When I told him the prices, he believed
me, but said that Little Caesar's already have it ready and we'd
have to wait for it to be made if we went to Blackjack's. Well,
okay. I don't mind that, but I wished he would have told me that
sooner. He apologized for not listening and that next time, if we
were in the area, we'd get that. That's okay, but they always do
that to me. My suggestions are rarely heeded. We always just do
what's familiar, even if it's not as good.
At home, my mom was on the computer, so I played Xenogears and
got more fangs, scales, and ivories to sell for high prices to get
more money to buy more items to boost my character's strength. I got
tired of that and my mom got off the computer, so I got online and
wrote this. I'm not going to tell what I wrote in this, so you'll
never know. |
