My dad was out doing errands, no doubt, for his
business. My mom was with Catie and Ben at HomeSource and Amy and
Matt were at school, leaving me here alone, but not before I was
told to clean the kitchen. I like when everyone is gone. I can
listen to my music loud while doing chores when they're gone. I
cleaned the kitchen before they got home. My mom came back with my 2
youngest siblings and I was told that the other thing I was to do
was to clean the bathroom. Andrea had gotten dropped off by a
co-worker and my mom was going to bring her to Ashley's house. I
decided to clean the bathroom while she was gone and finish so she'd
think I didn't do it and then when she got on me about it again, I'd
just smile and play along a little bit before telling her that I did
it. I wouldn't be doing it without being provoked, however. She
wouldn't just come ask me to do it. She'd assume I didn't do it and
I'd be answering her questions, which wouldn't be based on if I did
it or not; they'd be based on why I didn't do it. I started cleaning, but got caught up in something else (I don't remember now) and
finished it when my mom was here. Then I ran off to bring Brent the
CDs that I had copied for him and I ate Subway while I was out.
I already had plans to see "Underworld" with Amy last night, but
my mom rented "A Walk to Remember" and it would be the only time she
could watch it with me, so I stayed and watched it. It's a really
good movie. I like it a lot. I didn't cry, though, but my dad did.
Anyway, we knew that our parents wouldn't like us seeing
"Underworld", so we said we were going to see "The Medallion".
"Underworld" played at 4:20 and 10:15 only, while the other one had
a time at 7:10 and one at 9:40. We were going to the 10:15 showing,
but needed a reason to not go at 7 since my mom thought it was the
most reasonable showing to go to (for "The Medallion"). We were
starting to eat dinner and I wasn't hungry since I recently had
Subway, so I told her that I wanted to eat dinner before I went to
the movie since popcorn, candy, and soda hurt my stomach if I don't
eat anything before it (that's true) and that I wasn't hungry enough
to eat even one enchilada, so I was going to Putters to play DDR to
get hungry. I hadn't played it in a while, anyway. She agreed with
that.
I played DDR and, surprisingly, I got passed "Drop Out" twice!
Sometimes I won't be able to pass it once. That was cool. I had to
take off my boots and zip my new zipper pants up so they are
shorter.
When I got back, my parents were at bible study and I took Amy to
the movie. It was so cool! It's about vampires versus werewolves. It
was like "Daredevil" or "X-Men" but with more fierce fighting and
realistic injuries. It reminded me a lot of the Soul Reaver line of
games.
Back in the car, Amy gave me the run-down of "The Medallion" in
case my parents asked me how I liked it and what parts I liked the
best. It wasn't needed, since our conversation with them when we got
home was about us being out late ("The Medallion" turned out to be
shorter than "Underworld", plus it started 35 minutes sooner, so
basically would should have been home an hour sooner than we were).
We said we were talking after the movie for a while, and we stopped
at Wal-Mart to see if they had a certain sound card that I'm looking
for. They said that we should have called to let them know, because
when we're an hour later than we're supposed to be, they get worried
that we might have broken down and be stranded on the road and such.
Yep yep, that's the price we pay for wanting to do cool things.
