Yay, Kristen's working 10/25/2003
I woke up late again and had to take out all the trash in the house, plus sort the overflowing recycling. Then it was off to clean the bathroom again. After that, I headed for work. This dude in an old pickup truck was going 40 in the 55 zone *sighs*. At least I wasn't late.

Kristen was there but was just going on lunch. I was asked to help with the Layaway trailers right as I clocked in. We had to wait for a manager to come and open the door and that took a while. Andy came to help. We had to put 2 bicycles, a trampoline and the net thing that goes around the trampoline (which is just as heavy), and a desk in, and take a trampoline and a boxed bicycle out to go back in the store. The whole process took 45 minutes and since Andy didn't fill up the carts before he left, they only had one row of carts by the time I got up there. I started doing carts by myself and then Kristen came and wondered why the carts were so low. I told her what happened and she understood. I always like when she's there. It give me someone to talk to while I work. I was asking her stuff about if Todd was ever jealous of me and just didn't let me know. She said that she didn't think so. She said he's not the jealous type, though when she was still living in Maine, she had a best friend and they started liking each other, and Todd got tired of her talking about him. Kristen told him that he better straighten up, because her best friend could easily replace him if they broke up. She thinks that maybe his medication helps him not to be jealous of me (he takes anti-depressants and other stuff like that).

After my first break, I told her that I had 2 ideas. We already had plans to do something on Tuesday, and I suggested we go to Putters and she can try out DDR. She really liked that idea because she's wanted to play that game ever since she saw it, but Todd didn't want to. It sounded like she wanted to play it a lot and get really good at it. That's so cool! Usually people either haven't heard of it, they don't want to try it because they are afraid they will suck at it, and/or they make fun of people who play it. She said that we did what Todd wanted last time, so we'd drag him along with what we wanted to do on Tuesday, lol. She also apologized for Todd's rudeness when we hung out. Before we did that, I guess he said it would be cool to get me high, and Kristen said that he better not put me in that situation. While he smoked it when I was there, she kept trying to give him dirty looks and she said he knows that she wasn't happy with him at all. I told her that next time we hang out, I won't stick around if something like that comes up again and she said she doesn't blame me. The other idea was that since she got off work at the same time my lunch was, what if she stuck around and went to lunch with me. She said she hasn't seen Todd for a while from him and her being at work, so she'd want to spend time with him. We ended up going to Subway with him, anyway, but they left a few minutes after I ordered because he was really tired. We told him that we'll drag him to Putters on Tuesday and he whined about it, but he's a good sport and most likely will try it, too.

The rest of the day was busy. Nothing unusual happened. Stephanie told me that when we put the jumper cables on backwards, it fried something, which is why it wouldn't hold a charge anymore. Oops, lol. Oh well, that's it.
