Though no on guessed that that's what I was dressed
up as. The general first impression was that my disguise was that of
a lifeless man or the spirit that left him. I'd scare Mike whenever
he saw me because he said that he'd expect to see normal clothes and
he'd just see all one color. Everyone said I looked freaky.
This morning I began to think of the supplies I'd need for my
costume. I needed white and black face paint plus some gray hair
coloring. My mom needed red, yellow, and blue face paint so I set
out to get it. I first went to Bi-Mart since it's the only
department store in Junction City. They didn't have any face paint,
but they had halloween makeup crayons in packs of black, white, red,
yellow, and blue. What are the odds? Nothing for my hair, though, so
I bought the crayons from Kim, who was the cashier. I went to school
with her and had a crush on her when I was a senior. It's nice to
see her again, though I don't have any feelings like my previous
ones whatsoever for her.
My next stop was Fred Meyer in Santa Clara. No luck there. I
tried The Dollar Tree and Joann Fabrics with similar results. I went
back home to see if we had any hair coloring there. I tried the
white makeup on my face but it was a lot more difficult than I was
expecting and it didn't look that great. Everyone was gone except
Andrea, who went to work a minute late and got suspended for today
and tomorrow because she's had a problem with being late in the
past. She suggested I go to Wal-Mart to see if they had anything. I
cleaned my face off and went there. I saw Kristen in her hippie
costume. It was cute but made her look fat, lol. I didn't find any
better makeup but I did find some gray hair spray. I bought it and
hurried home.
I looked through our halloween bag and found some makeup and it
worked a lot better. I applied the white to my face, neck, and hands
and Andrea did the back of my neck. Then I took the black crayon and
shaded it over my face to make it look like pencil strokes. I
colored my eyebrows and lips darker and added a mustache and beard.
I did the same for my neck and hands. I found a nice gray sweater
and gray pants of my dad's and then I had Andrea spray the gray in
my hair. I had to leave right away so I wouldn't be late.
At work it was really cold and windy. I think it got down to 20
degrees at night! My dad's pants were thin. At least I had a sweater
on. I had my picture taken like all the other associates in costume. Here's that:
