N.E.W.S. 11/8/2003
The word "news" is from the initials of the words "North", "East", "West", and "South". It could have been a number of combinations of those letters, but this order makes the most sense since it is meant to explain new things. So here is today's news.

Aunt Vicki came over but said that Sis. Pat in Idaho is feeling worse and she thinks it's from stress of trying to decide what to eat on her own and my aunt really stayed firm on what she could and couldn't eat. My aunt came back and now Sis. Pat wants her back there because she doesn't want to do it on her own. She said she will make my Squall jacket first, though, and she's going to measure me tomorrow after church and on Monday we'll go to the leather shop.

My mom was tampering around in Cybersitter again, and then remembered that my copy of Windows XP is illegal, so my parents decided to buy it. As if Microsoft needs more money. I had to start the process of backing up everything of the family's hard drive so I could install Windows XP on it.

My dad called and said he was out of gas. I got my Wal-Mart stock check in the mail so I had to go cash it in, plus return the movie, so I said I'd go bring him some. I filled up the gas can and brought it to him. He asked me if I wanted some coffee and I said "sure". We walked to the coffee house. I told him that we were really near the one where Kristen and Todd like going a lot, but he said he had coupons for 2 free lattes at this other place, so we went there. I didn't like it as much as the other place where I went with Todd and Kristen. I didn't like the coffee or the interior as much. My dad didn't, either. We walked back to our cars and he asked if I wanted to follow him around while he took pictures. I half wanted to and half wanted to go home. I couldn't think of anything better to do at home, but I just kinda felt like going home. I couldn't make up my mind, so I remembered that I still had to get Windows XP working by tomorrow, so I figured I had better go home and finish backing up.

I stopped by Selco and deposited my check, then went to Hollywood Video and returned the late movie. I went inside and paid the late fee while I was there. David, who works at Wal-Mart and used to be a cart-pusher, came in and hadn't heard that I was fired. I told him about it and he thought it was a stupid reason to fire me and that he doesn't like Sherene. He asked me if I knew of any good, funny movies, and a grin spread across my face and I went over and handed him "Oscar". He looked at it and was skeptical because he's more into "Jay and Silent Bob" comedy, and not older stuff. I said to trust me, that it's really good. He said he'd try it. He's never seen "Princess Mononoke", but he's seen "Akira" and didn't like it much. He was trying to get me to rent "The Exorcist". He said he likes horror movies a lot, but he can't even watch it alone, especially at night. He said he'll have nightmares if he does and that it's the scariest movie there is. Well, Bro. Don is coming over tonight, so I couldn't watch a movie anyway. I don't think my parents would like me watching that movie, lol. As I said, I'm not into horror, anyway.

I got home and finished backing up all the stuff. My dad handed me the purchased copy of Windows XP, so I have to install it now. We're having homemade pizza tonight, and I'm listening to "New York City" by "They Might Be Giants". Man, I love that band. ^_^ Laters.

Meh. I didn't think it was too great or anything. And the second Toy Story was kinda sucky.

Anywho, you're lucky you can find Oscar anywhere. I want to buy it on DVD, but I've never seen it sold (or for rent) anywhere. So we just have it taped off TV. Oh well.

Have fun with your cumputer mumbo jumbo.

The Exorcist is not scary
To me, anyway
However, I'm having regrets for seeing it
You know why
Homemade pizza is good
Homemade lasagna is better
See ya around!

Wanna know something freaky? Like I said in the note above, never have I seen Oscar anywhere but on TV. Then I left you the note, and then today I went shopping and guess what I found? OSCAR on DVD!!!!! Naturally I bought it. Yay me! ^_^

Hope I didn't bug you too much last night with the whole religion chat.
