I have seen the 3rd movie of the Harry Potter series today. It was cool, but not as good as I was expecting it to be. They seemed to rush a lot of the plot of the book more than they did in the previous movies. Also, really cool events that happened didn't seem too spectacular. Maybe it's because I already read the book and already know what happens. The downfall of reading the book first is that you aren't surprised at anything when you watch the movie, whereas if you watch the movie first, then things still surprise you in the book because more happens in the book. I'd much rather read the book first, however. I hate my imagination of the book's events being influenced by watching the movie first. Still, it was nice to go watch. It was nice to remember that part of my life when I was reading the books and how much I liked them. Right before I went, however, I was writing an email. It seemed rather lengthy while writing it, yet not so much when reviewing it, such is the same with almost everything I write. I had to write it on Andrea's computer, such as I am doing now, because my mother is using the computer downstairs. My sisters have a small program on their computer called PopSwatter which basically blocks popup windows. It once in a while does a poor job of it, while other times it closes out of the main browser window along with the popups. That's what happened this morning and I lost the entire email. I suppose I'll just have to learn from that and write everything in Notepad first. Strangely, when the window containing my email vanished, I made no sudden reaction and merely turned around to Catie and calmly said, "I was writing a long email and then the window just closed." She said that it happens to her and Amy sometimes when they are writing a long email and how it's "so stupid". Well, I wasn't about to begin the whole thing over again, but it's probably just as well since too often for my liking, my emails have an effect other than what I intended. Also, Aunt Vicki finished repairing my black zipper pants. Ironically, the main zipper wasn't working very well and had some "teeth" missing, while all the other zippers on the pants were just fine. I wore them today, along with my black Nike tank top, which I wear inside-out so it looks all black, and my black Slipknot overshirt. Heh, I love that look. |
