What a weekend |
6/1/2006 |
I was invited to go camping with my buddies from high school, whom I haven't spoken to in 5 years. I found them on Myspace. I was to meet up at Doug's house. He lives with his girlfriend, Amanda, along with Mike and Travis. C.J. was visiting from out of town.
It was Friday and I didn't have to work. The plans were rather loose. We didn't know where we were going or when. I found out that besides Doug, Amanda, and Mike's sister, Carrie, everyone wanted to wait until it stopped raining. We spent Friday night drinking a little (my first Coors Light) and playing Fight Night: Round 3 on the Xbox (my first time playing Xbox). Mike and Travis had been playing it a while and were good at it. C.J. had never played it before and he and I were almost evenly matched, though he beat me every time. Mike, C.J., and I decided to go to Shari's for some food. When we got home, Carrie was asleep on the couch. I decided to sleep on the other couch in the same room and C.J. was going to sleep on the other half of the couch Carrie was on, but decided to sleep on the floor. Most of the guys flirt with Carrie. The next morning, Doug, Amanda, and Carrie left to go camping and waited for us to join them. C.J. and Mike wanted to go see X-Men III, so we all 3 went. It was cool. We listened to Tenacious D during the drive. Back at Doug's place, Travis had Doug's younger cousins, Dane and Ashley, came over. I started a game of Fight Night on career mode so I could get good at it. I played it for a lot of the day. We kept trying to call Doug to see where they ended up going camping, but he never called back. C.J. left to pick his girlfriend up from work and drive her home. He stayed there until the next day. That night, Mike asked if I wanted to go with him and his older brother, Tim, to a strip bar. I had never been to one, but decided to see what it was like. Mike drove me to his brother's house, where he had only been once before. Mike said he met a girl and she said she worked at the Great Alaskan Bush Company and she wanted him to come see her there. We ended up going to the Silver Dollar, instead. They picked some seats a little distance from the table where the main dancer was showing off her body and I wondered why we didn't sit up close and get the full effect. I then noticed that everyone was giving her $1 bills and I realized it would probably be rude to be sitting up there and not paying her. I only had water to drink. Oddly enough, I wasn't turned on by watching the strippers. Sure, they were very beautiful with sexy bodies and moves, but it didn't arouse me to watch them. I was more captivated by their movements and enjoyed watching their naked bodies in more of an artsy way than a sexual way. This girl came over to our table and I noticed there was water in front of us. She took off her towel and got in the water. I didn't have any money, but Mike gave me several dollars to give to her. She kept coming and talking to different ones of us and then some guy on my right said to stop picking on him. She said she guesses she was done and I could tell she didn't like how that strip session had turned out. I felt bad for her, because I thought she did well. When she finally came out of the dressing room with a bikini on, I walked up to her and said that it was my first time to a strip club and was unaccustomed to how things worked or I would have brought more money. I said that I could tell she felt unappreciated and didn't think she should feel that way. She said that everyone seemed bored. I said that I enjoyed her dance but just don't usually show my emotions outwardly. She thanked me for taking the time to let her know she did a good job and said I could come and see her any time I wanted. Mike wanted to go to the Alaskan Bush place, but Tim didn't want to, so Mike and I left. I had to drive because he had been drinking. His car is a nice Honda with some good power. It was cool driving it. When we got there, I saw someone I hadn't seen in a long time. It was Brent, one of Nick's uncles that had left my parents' church. He didn't recognize me right away. Anyway, I had asked Mike what a lap dance was. He told me and said that it wasn't really worth the money unless you were rich and money was no problem. He did, however, say that it's something everyone should have before they die. So, I picked out a girl and got her to give me one. She kept telling me to smile and I tried my hardest to, but it wasn't easy. It was kinda boring. I didn't get anything from it. I didn't get turned on at all. I asked Mike why Travis didn't go because from what everyone says, his free time consists of playing video games and watching porn, and he told me that he has a girl at the house (Ashley) so he was probably trying to get it on with her. I drove us back to Doug's and we went to sleep. I was the only one sleeping in the front room this time. On Sunday, I slept until around 2pm when Ashley turned on the movie "Pitch Black" and I watched it. I had watched "Chronicles of Riddick" in theaters, but never this one. I played Fight Night for a while and then we turned on "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children". I had been wanting to watch that really bad. It was an awesome movie. Then I played Fight Night some more. Dane and Ashley left. That night, C.J. came back, and Travis declared it a night to get drunk. C.J., Travis, Mike, and I all sat around and had another session of playing Fight Night against each other. Some girl named Molly was hanging all over Mike the whole time. I had 4 Bud Lights and it was a little hard to walk. Travis had many more and ended up throwing up in the toilet. I played Fight Night some more and then went to sleep on the couch. On Monday morning, I woke up and played it yet some more. Doug, Amanda, and Carrie came back and everyone was in cleanup mode. Doug said that they played strip poker and Carrie went all the way. Doug and Amanda had been cheating and she was too drunk to notice. They said they had been trying to call us but got no reception. I played Fight Night more until around 9:30 that night and then came home so I could go to bed for work the next morning. I borrowed the Final Fantasy VII movie from Doug to show Laura. He said I had to come hang out this next weekend to return it. I gladly will. |
